I own four bags and one wallet, and they have all been on sale for 20 -30 % off. I love buying on sale as it gives me the option of owning more than one bag. I often use cuponcodes, and know just where to look for them. I have an expensive taste, love luxurygoods, but I never pay retail;).

I don't think I've ever paid full retail for a bag.
There have been a couple that I've seen for full price and thought I'd get later for a discount. Neither worked out but I wasn't heartbroken over it.

Recently I saw a Frye bag at Nordies that I really like. But it's full price everywhere. And, like you, I know if I pay FP and then a couple of weeks or months later I see it discounted heavily, it will really annoy me.

Actually I take it back that I've never paid FP. I bought a MK Astor bag (I think that was the style - luggage color with silver studs) for full price.
Right after I bought it, I saw an individual selling the same bag at a heavy discount in Ebay. She had multiple bags - kept selling them one after another. It really pissed me off.

So part of me is thinking this is Christmas - buy the bag. Another part of me is saying there is some doubt about the handles and I'll regret it if I pay full price.

I paid full price for the Dark Pink Sutton. I usually wait for a sale or discount if I can. But I really wanted this color and I have seem MK bags sell out quickly. Now they are practically giving away this color Sutton so I should have waited. But I have carried it quite frequently since I purchased it. And would have been upset if I missed out.


I have noticed that Pink MK bags tend not to sell out. The red ones do purple, some black ones with silver hardware. After a while you start to notice the trends. But the sales this week have been fantastic....bought 3 bags MK bags and one Coach!

I've purchased 10 bags this year. 2 last month, 2 this month. Yikes. Amazing deals I couldn't pass up, because I want to have variety of colors. I feel limited with tan and black. I'm a vibrant person. That should be expressed on the inside as well as the out. I paid $139 for an Apple EW Hamilton today. I love deals. I paid $150 for a NS Navy hamilton. $66 for a Fulton crossbody. I'm never on the hunt. I just keep on finding these purses that need to be with me! Most of them are deals from Macy's. To me these purses are better than that one $900+ purse I'll never wear. I'll never sell them! I made my choice to buy them. They're for life.

Retail price SUCKS!! But I have been known to pay it, ugghhhh.....but last night I got a large quilted selma in claret for 25% off with an additional 10% off because of an itty bitty white mark that my hubby removed with a qtip last night, I think it was the paper stuck to it, the SA could not get it off in store(she didnt really try, she looked worn out)but DH did.
