When I had my Flaxton made by Peter Nitz he did do a new pattern for the bag because I wanted to be sure that my wallet, sunnies, iPad, keys fit into the bag. I measured all the items I carry on a daily basis precisely and sent him the measurements. When I flew to Zurich to pick up the bag at the Atelier, I got to see the pattern. Unfortunately, I did not take a pic of the pattern.

Oh wow that's so cool and exactly what I'm referring to! Being able to fit in exactly what I need without playing bag Tetris 😅
Your bag and charm are beautiful

His work is beautiful and i recommended him to a TPFer a few years back… he assured her that he would provide the CITES for her Himalayan croc which he ended up dropping the ball on. (Which is a major issue with exotics). Completely soured my perspective on him and I cancelled the sterling silver engraved belt order from him due to the above situation.
If you are thinking about exotics, I would be extremely careful about who you work with. My himalyan croc/bull calf Nitz Dream bag (my avatar) was opened by US Customs, inspected, and carefully repackaged by the US Fish & Wildlife service. It had all the proper documentation and was cleared in 1 week. So it was ~10 days to get from Zurich to the US.

ETA: I do wonder what the agents thought of the bag. :) They were very careful and respectful with it.

Right so who can do a completely bespoke bag to my exact specifications of size, weight, compartments inside, strap width and length, the kind of clasp I want, etc?
Peter does all of that with the exception of the bespoke clasp. (Last time I ordered there were 3 different finishes offered for each hardware element he uses.)

Hardware is a realm all its own, and produced by a specialist company at the specifications of the leather artisan/firm. I'm guessing if you wanted to design your own clasp it might end up costing as much as the bag for a one-off piece.

I am a shortie too with narrow sloping shoulders. The Flaxton is perfect for everyday crossbody wear. I am getting the Dawning bag next I wanted something with a zip top and cross body. Here’s a pic of the bag and leathers, peanut Dalmatian exterior, Maize chèvre interior.

The bag is made from Haas novonappa in fauve, the inside is italien chevre in teal. It's 28 cm base and fits all my essentials. It has a magentic closure and the strap is expendable to wear it crossbody. It also has a slip pocket outside for my phone. It does have feed and the minimal hardware on the strap is silver. This is by far my most favourite bag. It's inspired by the Celine luggage with the flaps and the slip pocket by the Hermes 24/24
