White sneakers quality issue

Hi.... I have the heart Gucci Ace sneakers as a bday pressie from my hubby about 2 weeks ago in Singapore ( Gucci Paragon to be exact) and i also have terrible issues with the type of what they claim as "leather" .. Yeah... I loved the shoes so much, but After wearing for 4-5 times.. I wanted to clean the under flap of the shoe lace and i was disgusted to see that the white coating is coming off from both sides left and right shoes!!!! I right away called my SA, the one who helped me reserved the last pair of my size and heart design...And sent her photos upon her request and even she was so surprised to see what happened with his exact text message--- " ahhhh that is a very unique case" and she called me to ask me to brin my pair to their store.... And she assured me of help.... And upon gg to the store after 2 days... I was so disappointed to know they will just take photo ( again!) of the pair and send to GUCCI italy for advice!!! They asked me to fill up an After Sales Service form..And whats worse is fhey told me email response would take about 1 month from Italy!! SERIOUSLY??!! Email reply will take that long??!! Im dont expect just that kind of assistance from a lux brand like GUCCI... And we just bought the shoes for only 2 weeks!!! And after the picture taking of my shoes... They asked me to carry it back home?!!!! Really disappointing!!!! @GucciSingapore

Oh no! That is really, really annoying. So sorry to hear that. Can you post a picture of the problem? I hope Gucci takes care of you. Let us know what they say.

Hrm. I was really interested in the adorable pool slides with the heart and rainbow on them but it looks like the same kind of coloring as the sneakers. But the thing is I was actually going to wear them around the pool in the summer (my daughter takes swimming lessons). So that's a no-go if there's a chance that the slightest moisture makes the colors run.

I've the embroidered and heart ones and they have been absolutely fine. I live in London so they have seen rain (not absolute downpour). Write to them and see.

I just bought the stars ace sneaker but had to exchange for a smaller size. Now I don't know if I should keep them if there are issues. I bought them in part because I liked the red and green on the back of the shoes and that it said Gucci...I don't know how they would look if the color starts running or if the shoes are peeling!

I have the pearl sneaker, and I have to say their quality is really bad... I only wore them for three times and I lost one of the pearls. However, when I brought my sneakers to their store and asked what they can do to fix it, they said this damage was because I didn't "baby" my sneakers... I mean, who would BABY a pair of sneakers? Do I need to polish them regularly??? The other thing is since I bought mine at a duty-free store in a foreign airport, they refused to help me and the SA was so rude

So I'm assuming you are talking with the sneakers with the pearls all around the sole? Not just the three on the side? This stink because I've been dying for a pair. I really do not want to buy a pair now. Thank you so much for sharing. Could you possibly share a photo?

I have the metallic rainbow ones, same leather style as yours, and have only wore them once, boating. But they didn't get wet. So far no problems with them but if it's true they can't get wet, that's ridiculous. I really want to buy the Ace with the bee since I love my bees but I'm thinking I might go for the fold-down heel floral ones.

Have worn these 4-5x... haven't had any issues. I live in LA so i won't have the rain problem. But I will say the upper feels just like adidas Stan smith haha too bad there guccis are priced way higher

I will keep them then,I did get them at a good price so keep saying to myself well they were cheaper haha
I went down a size too and they fit nice.I got a (39) uk 6 but I am usually a (40) uk 7 so they do come up bigger

I have the same issue, I got Gucci safety pin ace sneakers from Saks 5th NY, and after a month the leather starts peeling. Have you found any help from Gucci?
