What's your favorite for rings?
I used to always love the yellow gold, but have now been really LOVING the white gold. I have two wedding sets... one in yellow gold and one in white gold. (I've actually been thinking of having the one in yellow gold reset in white gold). Got the white gold one from my DH on our last anniversary.

Seems if I'm wearing yellow gold jewelry, then I wear my yellow gold wedding set... 1.06 ct Marquise diamond with a smaller marquise on each side and round diamonds going down the band. Wedding band is a channel set 1/2 ct round diamond band. White gold one is a 1 1/2ct Princess cut diamond with two princess cut diamonds stacked on top of each other next to the main stone, then 4 baggettes stacked sideways on top of each other next to the two princess stones on both sides. The band is a white gold 1/2 ct ring with princess and baggettes.

It depends on the setting and the gemstone. If I'm buying diamonds, I prefer it to be in white gold. I like green amethyst in white gold. I prefer blue topaz, citrine, and purple amethyst in yellow gold. I like Tanzanite in either white gold or yellow gold depending on the setting. I love both yellow and white, but the setting and stone plays a big part in which I prefer.

If I have to choose between those...well I can't. I only wear Plat bec I am allergic to gold.

For looks I GUESS whitegold. I don't care for yellow.

i prefer my diamonds to be on white gold.. it stands out more..
and yes, i love my silver too.. it's really a matter of personal preference as i feel that my skin tone cannot work with yellow gold.

Yellow gold just because it compliments my skin tone. Sort of softens my look :nuts:lol It also makes diamonds pop as opposed to white gold where the diamonds just seem to blend in. Just my personal opinion. If I want a white metal, I wear my silver.

I tend to go in phases. I'll wear mainly yellow gold for awhile then will wear mainly white gold. At the moment, I prefer white gold. It also depends on the stones for me, for instance, I prefer diamonds in white gold most of the time. I also really love rose gold.
