It's the mutual appreciation society here, I totally love all the light/white bags I'm seeing on this thread. Feels like a special club. :D

own several, I admit I baby them more than my other bags, but they are beautiful, and wouldn't give them up for the world. here are a few of mine.

You keep an immaculate collection

Interestingly that vintage off-white Gucci is over 50 years old. How's that for classic well-kept whiteness!!!!

I am so weak, when it comes to white and light colored bags.
I try to wear them without worrying too much but avoin blue jeans and other clothes, that might give color transformation.
IMO white is easy to wear with different outfits.
Papertigers and immigrattys bags are

All beautiful and so elegant. I'm just  over the ones in your hands. Are they Epi Almas?

Love the color of the one in the bottom. Perfect.

Thanks Stacey. It's a very neutral pale beige with light-gold hw.

I had a sheepskin Tod's bag that was my first and last white bag. It could only be carried by hand or slung cross body. Needless to say, it didn't stay white for very long! The top handles turned grey after mere months, and so did the back of the bag from constantly bumping against my body. Sold it for a song. One of the most expensive mistakes of my life. Might have fared better if it had been a shoulder bag.

Excellent point.

Thank you so much. and yes, it's from 1964, I only break that one out on very VERY special occasions. and it looks PRISTINE. so there you have it, Gucci white bags hold up IMMACULATELY. :D

Oh no!!! Sound awful :(

I was just debating on spending major €€€ on a white handbag. But now I'm only 10% sure about hat...
I never baby any handbag and I only wear cross body (which means CONSTANT bumping on my mostly dark clothing...)...
Oh gosh.... I thought a white (or even light grey) bag would be so nice to have... Now I'm just horrified!!! XD

I only own one. It's a pale pink it isn't designer, it's actually deerskin.. Drives me bonkers, gets dirty so easily, doesn't like rain either. It's way to high maintenance for me. This is why i stick to black, deep reds & browns plus i have a new navy bag.. that is as exciting as i can get. Lighter colors are just not practical for my lifestyle or my weather.

Oh I just saw this! If you only carry crossbody on dark jeans, you will be prone to getting denim transfer! Not advisable unless you can wear your white bag with dresses or light summer clothes.
