Since I have the white I am partial to it and my vote goes to white. I agree with girliceclimber it looks sporty and feminine, the black one on me felt just a little too masculine since I have large hands, (unless it has the diamond bezel, then I felt it looked good!!) Congrats on your choice, you will love whichever one you get!!

I love the white. I have one and wore it all winter. It really is seasonless. Even though there are a lot of white watches around the J12 has a very distinct look and everyone notices it. The diamonds show better on the black but I think the white is more eye-catching.

sassc: I totally agree about the masculine concern about the black because like you I have big hands. I'm also tall and have a big bone structure so I thought it looked a little too masculine w/o diamonds also. I live in NYC so I'm out walking a lot with my kids so I feel like it might draw to much attention say in Central Park etc...but whenever I see it, it looks awesome. As does the white...

^^I'm 5'10" but small bone structure...hence the 33mm. Never thought of the masculine aspect. Interesting! I love both...if I could afford another one, I'd buy a black with diamond markers.

I am of fairly fair complexion and wear a lot of dark colors. I bought a white J12 and haven't regretted it for a second. It really pops on all my outfits, is so different from everyone else's watches and looks good dressed up or down. I will say that I do not think that diamonds make much of an impression on a white J12 though. I am completely in love with my white J12 but do plan to get a black J12 with a diamond bezel someday because I love how it sparkles. My two cents: If you HAVE to have diamonds I would go with the black J12 with diamond bezel (markers don't do much for me for the price). However, If you don't need the diamonds and want a great wear everywhere watch, I'd go for the white J12 without any diamonds and spend the savings on a new Chanel handbag!

I have a cousin (guy) who wears the black with diamond bezel and I find it way too blingy, so you might find yourself with some unwanted attention.

MIL has the white with diamond markers and also the one with diamond bezel, I like the white with diamond bezel because its still nice, classy, and just not as blingy since I rather not grab too much attention.

Black. For something like a watch that gets lots of wear year-round, I would choose colors that are less-seasonal. Not that you can't wear white in the winter (because you absolutely can), but I consider it to be more of a fun, spring/summer color.

i would definitely adv to try them both on..personally i love the look of the white, it seemed more feminine on my wrist and looks great against my skin colour. also the white looks great in all seasons..black may seem a little heavy during the summer.....although lots of other brands have now started doing white ceramic watches the j12 looks quite distinct...try them both and get the one that makes your heart skip a beat,,..congrats on whichever you get!
