I've read somewhere on here before about the rhodium being the reason they haven't made one previously.I wonder if the design would be different, unless it’s not rhodium plated. If it is plated then it can’t be bendy like the current design. I would love a rhodium plated small JUC.
However I have a Tiffany T wire and a Dinh Van Serrure bangle and both are bendy and rhodium plated, so I've never really understood why this is an issue for Cartier.
I wondered if it was more to do with the alloys they use for their white gold.
If you look at the T wire under a loop you can clearly see that where there are scratches it looks slightly yellow beneath the rhodium. My Love is not rhodium plated but is more of a grey / warm tone white gold, definitely not the colour of the Tiffany white gold. So my guess is Cartier use a different alloy in 18 carat white gold to make it white.. maybe platinum? Perhaps that is the reason it can't be bendy?
