Congrats on the birth of your daughter! I vote for the infinity ring because I'm a fan of symbolism and I think it's the perfect piece to commentate the birth of your daughter as a mother love is infinite.

Bezel set is pretty but personally I think it's a bit small. Are they around the same price? The infinity ring has greater presence when worn.

Thanks all! I've requested a look at a slightly bigger yellow diamond (.28) with different parameters (fancy intense vs1). If that doesn't look a little better I will do the Infinity. As someone said I think that will be a win win situation- I will report back with final purchase.

There is about a $1000 difference between the two from my initial post. Infinity is less expensive of the two.

Personally, I think I would chose the yellow diamond. If you really love it, you should go for it and maybe think about adding a yellow gold band in a while or something.

Loving that yellow diamond! I think the infinity is more fashionable, as the yellow is more classic. There is nothing wrong with a smaller diamond! :) good luck xx

Start a new thread and post this info. there.
But personally, I wouldn't choose either.

Also, why is the GIA cert on the first stone so old? I'm guessing someone sold/upgraded. It needs a new cert. I would never, ever buy something with a cert that's almost 6 years old. You want to make sure there hasn't been any damage done. What was originally 1.21ct could very well be less now due to wear and tear. Yes, diamonds chip.

Hi ladies, I wanted to come back to this thread to give an update on my ring decision. I wasn't 100% happy with the size of the ring for the price at Tiffany's. While I do love the store, this was a case where I wanted to really have a "wow" piece. I ended up going the custom route, and I'm very happy with the results. It's a .63 VS1 Fancy Intense Yellow (for the same price as a .28 with same qualities at Tiffany's). Purchased from Diamonds by Lauren, which was a great and fast experience. Thanks again for all your feedback!

Congrats! Looks awesome! I'm so happy for you. You know what you wanted and you didn't waiver or get side tracked. No regrets. Too often in the past, I have settled for something else and then ended up regretting not sticking to my original idea.

Enjoy it and wear it in good health!

Thanks, Shopgirl! I felt bad about returning the smaller ring, but I am so happy with how it all turned out!
