how about this? sparkly and looks nice as a right hand ring..

although i tend to agree with the rest of the voices here-the other two options are lovely pieces but can be obtained through a dealer that will save you alot.
but then again, the little blue box with white ribbon is very tempting..

Cartier makes a similar necklace called Diamants Légers de Cartier (long and short versions in either white or yellow gold). I don't know how big the diamonds are in comparison to Tiffanys but definitely worth looking.

How I wish Cartier would make the long version of the necklace in pink gold!

I saw in NM that Roberto Coin offers a 5 station diamond necklace for $720. You could layer almost 10 of those for the price of the Tiffany necklace.

I agree with the other posters that these two pieces can be bought non brand name and you can buy both instead of one. I don't think anything about these two items makes them worth the Tiffany's price tag, than again I only favor designer jewelry if it is a specific exclusive design for example Cartier Love Bracelets.

But if I had to chose in between the two I would choose the ring IMO the ring just looks more expensive than the necklace.
