Which would you choose? Looking for a great everyday piece:

They're both very different pieces of jewellery. I love them both. Are you buying it for an occasion or special event? If you already have a ring, I'd go for the necklace. Vice versa.

Oh no, I can only afford one. The ring would be on my right hand. Already have enough bling for the left.

Kinda leaning towards the necklace unless you ladies (and gents) can recommend any more T styles that have diamonds. TIA!

Silly question. I probably only ask because I am a stupid man... BUT:

They are both lovely pieces. Absolutely chic and sophisticated. Yet, both styles are universal in design, hence I wonder why pay the Tiffany premium?

The necklace is done by Roberto Coin, and most high end jewelry stores offer it with vvs diamonds for about half the price Tiffany charges. Same on the ring.

In this case, you COULD afford both!

So while I wish you all the happiness in the world with whichever one you choose, I guess my question is: Why buy Tiffany when the designs are universal and the premium is so high?

If it were a design EXCLUSIVE to Tifanny, it would be a whole other story...

Go with the unbranded, same quality pieces and get BOTH!!

Oooh - I'm with the 'stupid man' here - good call! I totally agree, if it's not a branded Tiffany's design that people will recognize as Tiffany's, which these really aren't, I would have them copied and get BOTH! :) I know it's more fun to get it at Tiffany's... but my engagement/wedding band are copies and I love them!! I'm in the VCA market right now but only b/c I know people know it's VCA, you know? :)

I agree with both wired and sufer, there is nothing imo that makes it tiffany, although they are lovely items, I would rather spend less and get the same effect, if I had to choose between them I would go for a necklace. To be honest, I am going to plug VCA as a nice alternative!:graucho:

I vote for the ring - it makes a great stacking ring. I first tried it on at Tiffany, thought the price was obscene, and bought one elsewhere. I've since been back to Tiffany, compared their ring to mine, and there is no difference - mine is just as sparkly and beautiful, and at about 1/3 the cost. Even the SA had to check the inside of the ring to be sure it was the Tiffany ring I'd handed back to her!

PS This is a very delicate-looking ring. It is thin and the diamonds are small. But it sparkles like crazy and makes a great stacking ring!
