Which worth more $ in 15yrs- Love or J12?

Just sitting around wondering..... Do you think a j12 with diamond markers or a 18 carat Cartier Love bracelet will be worth more in 2025? I think the Love bracelet will definitely cost a lot more in 2025. But I do not know about the j12. Anyone interested in sharing an opinion?

I feel like the j12 is more of a fad. The cartier is more of a classic. If you're looking at their retaining values, I'd say the Cartier will be worth more

Do you mean the price of a new one in 15 years or the value in 15 years of one owned now?

If you mean value, I would say jewelry over a ceramic watch.

I think a lot may have to do with the brand name. Both are well known and beloved. I would think jewelry would hold their value better, though. Just my 2 cents.

love bracelet- basically for the inherent value of the gold, then the design itself

Thanks everyone for all your opinions. I think the Cartier would probably be more sought after as well. Even though the ceramic j12 may be a trend, it is still a Chanel. So you would think the name would make it worth something - but probably not as much as a solid 18 carat Cartier bangle.

I already have 2 J12s - one is plain 38mm white, other is black 33mm w/diamond markers.
I have 2 Loves also - one is plain WG bangle, other is plain RG cuff. If I pull the trigger - it would be Xmas time for a plain YG bangle. But I don't know........

The way Chanel is raising thier prices, who knows? I say Cartier as well. But buy what you love.

Id say the love bangle an eternal classic plus with cartier name and the inherent value of the gold itself - I feel chanel are great for bags/jackets but for long term investments im not so keen on their watches...

No problem! I don't know if I should save $ for the YG bangle at XMAS time. I might be better off buying clothing but I don't get as much enjoyment out of clothes. And they won't have any value in 15 years!

I know, clothes can be expensive, and they are so much more transient. Bags too, but not to the same degree.
