Which watchwinder do you use?

Some people swear by them and some people don’t. I think I was told decades ago that a winder could over tax one’s watch, but they’re probably more sophisticated nowadays. And, it is a PITA to set one’s watch every time you decide you want to wear it. Perhaps ask your AD?
Thank you so much for your response; yes I had heard the same thing back in the day so it's confusing.. I asked him & at first he said it wasn't necessary but then said I could always get one so I was still a bit confused LOL

I know this is an old thread but I just got my 1st Rolex & am wondering if it's necessary to get a winder for it since I won't be wearing it daily.. I'm a tennis player so most days I'm wearing my sports watch & then I have a bunch of other watches (chanel, michelle, apple, chopard etc) so I'm worried about my Rolex sitting around for just special occasions.. is it better to just manually wind it the times I'll wear it or keep it on a winder continuously? Thx!!!

We use one  Before my first Rolex was stolen, I didn't have one for the first maybe 7 years so I had to manually wind and reset time, then we got one for the last maybe 3 years (prior to theft). It was never serviced. So, I've had it both ways, I prefer them being ready rather than winding them and resetting every time I wear them!

OMG I'm so sorry to hear yours was stolen :-( my biggest fear! I hope it was insured. Do you mind me asking you how it was stolen? Yeah I'm thinking that too; that it may just be a huge hassle to wind each time thx

It was insured  Our home was robbed, unfortunately they got pretty much everything. The watch has since been replaced and we've added to our collection. The new winder is more of a safe this round!

I use a Wolf watch winder. I like not having to re-set them when I am ready to wear them.

I was gifted a Wolf winder when I purchased my last Cartier. I have since added a Rolex to my watch collection and use it with that, too. There are some watch enthusiasts out there who think manual winding is the way to go (fewer Rolex threads here, but just do a simple Google search and you’ll see what I mean!), but like @Swanky, I much prefer to have mine ready to go.

Which insurance company did you use for your jewelry? Also, unrelated but I see you’re an admin, how are people able to post because I have tried and it says I have insufficient privileges to do so :(

We used AIG, they were fabulous!
I’m not sure what you mean by post, you have 7 posts.
If you mean start a new thread you must have 5+ posts which you only just reached today, so now you should have privileges.
