My vote for Coach as she likes big gold tone watch, it's also sportier. Burberry looks a bit dated and Philip Stein seems more suitable for 30s.

If you don't mind paying a bit more, go for Tissot rather than designer's watches.

as a 20-something year old, coach vote from me! especially since you said she likes "big", "gold" watches. :D it's the only watch that caught my eye, really.

PS
however!! after reading about "natural frequency technology", I must say that's quite an attractive quality about the philip watch. if you get her that watch, make sure to educate her about its merits! ;D

Philip Stein - I love the NFT. I sleep better with it. I wore my Omega for the past two days and have gotten about 4 hours sleep combined. It is definitely not in my head!

^Hows the battery situation working for you?, I noticed that lanasyogamama had problems with the battery of her watch:-s now I'm a little concern about that!

Thank you ladies for the great input, I'm very close deciding on the Philip Stein or the Burberry two tone.

I agree with this. The Burberry ones look pretty boring for a 20 year-old and while I prefer the Philip Stein over all of them, that's because I'm older and my tastes are different, though I would never want to spent Philip Stein prices on a 20 year-old whose tastes will be constantly evolving and changing over the next 10 years or so.

I would go for the Coach over the others, for a 20 year-old, but the fact that the only numbered marker on it is the 12 bothers me, it looks wrong somehow.

Would you consider going with a gold Michael Kors chronograph watch? They're extremely popular right now and it's big and gold and looks very similar to the Coach one you posted. It sounds like your daughter wants a big, chunky, gold watch and that makes me think she's leaning more toward the styles that are super popular right now.

I've only had the watch for a month so I really cannot comment yet. I would not be surprised if batteries were an issue though. Some people will go through batteries faster because of their natural frequencies in any watch. Honestly, I have spent so much money on useless things that are supposed to help with sleep problems, I would change the battery every month if I had to!

I voted for the Philip Stein and I am in my mid 20s. The Burberry watches are cute but I feel like the Philip Stein not only looks better but will have a longer wearing life than Burberry. I see Burberry as a fashion watch (I mean Burberry brand is known for their coats/scarves/outerwear) whereas Philip Stein is known for watches.

But I noticed that I have old lady taste so I may not be the typical 20-something year old!

I agree with Stophle - have you considered the MK big oversized gold watches??

^Kohl_mascara and Stophle: my daughter also have "old lady" taste;) MK watches are not her cup of tea (she loves the look but not the brand)....I think they are cute, the burberry watch....I honestly think is a good looking watch.....I'm still thinking the PS might be the best choice....thank you clu13 for your opinion:smile1:
