Which wallet do you prefer? A small compact size or a larger continental size?

Currently I am using a long wallet but I honestly love the smaller wallets. Although the bills fold, it just seems so much easier to put cash in and pull it out. Plus I don't have so many cards where I would fill up all those slots! It would seem like a headache! I have to find cards to just fill them up haha. Plus smaller wallets take up less space!

Definitely a big zip-around! I tried out a few different wallets when I was searching for a replacement for my beat-up zip-around a few months ago. Made the mistake of buying a smaller wallet with the idea that it would fit better in smaller bags, but it didn't have enough card slots, and -- and this was really the learning point -- I could not stand having the bills and cards in a different compartment from the change. Those wallets with the separate change compartment on the other side of the wallet look nice, but I just couldn't deal with the wallet having two separate openings for two separate things, and I didnt like my bills separate from my change. So, I found a lovely zip-around with 12 card slots and the change compartement right in the middle where I need it, and I'm happy again!
A small French purse is perfect for me. I put most of my loyalty cards in a separate small card holder, though. I really wish more vendors would get on the iPhone Passbook app. It would be sooo much more convenient.
I prefer full sized wallets, but not oversized. I'm currently using the black Cartier pictured above. Took out my cards for picture. I've had it for a few years now and get a lot of compliments on it. Completely abuse this wallet but it's in excellent condition. I have card holders, smaller wallets and wallets that I use as clutches for evening wear but always revert back to my black Cartier. You cannot beat the quality of luxury. I'm looking at a Ferragamo this size at the moment but with a zipper as it has side by side card holders horizontal jnstead of vertical. I prefer side by side cardholders as pictured as it keeps the wallet slim and even. Not bulky in the middle. It's easy to use, fits everything but also keeps clutter out as it has on envelope pocket for cash and receipts. The other on top doesn't fit much. I carry mid sized handbags and totes. Trying to venture out and find some cute colorful wallets. I always revert to this size for everyday. Cardholders are great but not for when I shop or daily use. I love simple, understated and chic but need the practicality of a full sized wallet as I am a mom. But even before my son, this wallet has been my favorite. Considering a wallet this size but with a zipper. No preference there as my Cartier folds over and i have had no problems. Ferragamo seems to only have horizontal cardholders in their zippered wallets. Hope this helps at all. (: I know it's really a preference/ lifestyle thing.
LV ZCP - two cards in each slot (eight total) and I like having the two sections so I can separate my coins and subway tokens. We are starting to get polymer notes here (Canada) and they are difficult to fold so I may have to get a larger wallet soon though.
Yes, BV. I got the smaller wallet, and ended up moving it on - it was TOO small. So, I have to say, I prefer the larger wallet (like the once I have, with the wrist strap).
I love zip-around wallets because I can fit a lot of stuff in it. But from time to time, I will simply bring a wristlet.
Larger continental. I used to be a small coin purse person. But now I love larger wallets. Never say never.
i like the large continental zip around wallets because it fits every thing I need but I do love the smaller compact ones because it fits my essentials - I don't have to carry EVERYTHING with me. I guess it depends on the size of bag that I'll carry!
