At 27, I don't think you should get any of the RTT or heart stuff... it's too young. I am 24 and I wouldn't even consider wearing any of that stuff.

That being said, I really like all of the Elsa Peretti stuff, the teardrop necklace in crystal is my favorite.

This is hard! I never have so much trouble picking a gift for her.

I'm starting to think I might drag her to the store and buy something for myself but see what she would like then go back and get it.

Or a gift receipt?

Her birthday is in March so the aquamarine color by the yard necklace would be nice! But the stone is very very tiny!

I've searched through this forum and only found DBTY pics. Anyone have Colors by the Yard modeling pics?

I love the interlocking circles as a gift from friend to friend!

Anything but the double mini heart tag! They are so weird. Too big to be danty, but to small to be substantial and then there are two which will probably fall so short due to the chain length. Personal experience with the double heart tag mini was not good.

I LOVE your idea!! My BFF and I bought each other tiffany pendants at the end of the school year back while we were still in college. Even though my BFF told me what to buy, she ended up exchanging it for something she liked better (I guess she didn't want it afterall)! So I second your suggestion of giving her a gift receipt!

Thats funny, I am 25 and I love the RTT collection and have/wear many pieces.

OP what one may love another will not so take her shopping and let her pick out her present!

*~*ITA. I'm 24 & I love my Loving Heart necklace, Open Heart bracelet, and RTT bead bracelet, & I don't think they look young at all!! It just depends on what your best friend's style/taste in jewelry is.*~*

I agree! Jewelry is so subjective. I guess i'll have to get her to the store and secretly see what she likes. If I just flat out said I was going to buy her a gift she always refuses.

Personally, I Love the Open Heart Elsa Peretti Necklaces.

I have a bit of RTT but do agree that it is a little young.... I'm 31 but I still wear the bracelet heaps just not so keen on the Tag necklace, I wore it heaps for one winter then grew outta it.

I think the RTT necklaces are cute (and a bit young, I admit), but if your friend doesn't own any Tiffany yet, I would get her something a little less "branded" -- something that's distinctly Tiffany yet doesn't actually say the name "Tiffany" on it. I've found that a percentage of people who don't have a lot of exposure to the brand don't "get" the pieces that say Tiffany & Co right on the items, if that makes any sense.
