tbh I don't think you can go wrong with any of the tiffany pieces!

My friend just bought his engagement ring from tiffany is HK as he said it is tax free....?

But we are in the UK but he did say it was cheaper than the states for us....

Gold, silver, or platinum starfish?

The silver is the best in my opinion. It's just a bonus that it happens to be the best deal of all the ones you quoted. With all of my Tiffany's silver I just wipe it down at night with a cleaning cloth and it stays beautiful. When I take my stuff in for yearly cleaning the SAs always comment on how nice my pieces look.

Also, is it weird to buy a heart or hugs&kisses charm when I am buying it for myself? I don't want people to think it's from a guy or something..if you know what i mean. I just happen to like hearts, i guess.

I really do like all of your choices. However, I personally would not get any where the pendant is attached on both sides by the chain. I have a VCA vintage Alhambra single motif where the chain is affixed like that, and I always find myself having to adjust it to keep it centered. I love it though and wear it a lot, but it does get a little annoying. Since you said you want a necklace that you're going to wear 24/7, I might be a little concerned about that. Unless maybe the Tiffany ones don't do that as much? I love the look of those type pendants, just as long as they don't travel around the neck!

I would get the Signature X (number 5). It is a classic Paloma Picasso design. You can have the chain extended. I think it will be about $50 dollars to make it 18 inches.

really? but what about the ones that slide along the chain? most of my necklaces are like these but then the clasp always slides down...

Well, her eis my 2 cents: Go for th eone you really love, even if it is a bit over your budget. If you end up buying something else simply because it fits into a certain price range, then you may not end being 100% satisfied with it.
I really like this one, out of all the hearts you have picked, this is my favorite.
