Which Tiffany bangle to go for?

Thanks for all your input, everyone :)

I think I'll be going for the silver bangle so will be getting it later in early 2013 (ie. closer to my b-day). Then it'll be gold galore in Asia... fingers crossed there won't be too much of a gold hike next year!

I would definitely like to get a bangle from Tiffany and am determined to treat one to myself :D

I think I'm swaying towards silver more and more now based on everyone's opinions and it's reassuring to know there is definitely that option of a gold bracelet at a cheaper price in Asia! (Last went in 2009 and I really don't want to know how much the price increased from then *gulp*. Keep wishing I bought more when I was there, lol).

Ooh, can't quite recall that design off the top of my head - will have to check for it now! Thanks for your input!

It's the lock bangle:

It's pretty, no? :D There's a similar one with two diamonds that I might try for later.

Its very eye catching .. it wasn't on the US site, so that was my issue in finding it. - Thanks for the link!

I think you made the right choice with the silver! It's super cute, and you will get lots of wear out of it. If you want to buy a plain gold bangle, get an 18k non-branded.

Thanks - I'm sitting well with my decision right now despite the auction for the gold bracelet ending. Hopefully I'll have no regrets but now I just want it SOON, lol. My first time trying to save for anything so hopefully I'll have the patience. Graduating and learning money management is such a grown up thing

Prices in the Chinese goldsmith shops in Asia are based on the current gold price, though some do have charges for workmanship. However they carry pieces in different karat weights And also based on the actual weight of a particular item so you'll prob be able to find something you like within your budget.
