I agree with Lauraoz. Buy it and compare the two. Sometimes you never know until you have it in your hands whether you love it or not and if it's worth spending the extra money to get it. I really like the contrast of the tea roses on the melon even though I'm not much of a pink person myself either.

Well, I posted the bag on eBay, so I guess I decided to get the Melon - I did post it at the top of what I think I can get for it, so we will see if it sells. I don't want to loose much money in this process. Alas, I can't buy the Melon and use my 30% off without losing the 30% off if I return it. I did go into the Coach store the other day and put both bags next to each other and looked at them for a while. I kept on being drawn to the melon. But, I love them both.

Thanks I did not know that.

But, I actually took the bag down. I decided I need to get the melon and put both bags side by side for a few days.

I'm being so silly on this. I have a high pressure exe jobs and make million dollar decisions and I can't pick a bag.

What is awesome about this forum, is I have peeps who understand this!

Well, I bought the mellon today and just took it home and tried it on with a lot of my jackets and outfits. ANd you know what. It does not work. It's so loud, it takes over the look and the beachwood actually just blends nicely into everything, So, I think I will try it one more time, but the mellon just seemed too loud and busy.

I am glad you tried out the Melon before you sold the Beechwood! Some bags are just meant to be admired from afar, not owned. If it just won't work for you, it does not really matter how pretty it is!

Would you take some photos of the melon for us? Pleeeease? I'm also debating on melon myself.

Can you take a few pictures with two bags next to each other. I'm trying to decide which one to get. I sold my beechwood but really miss it and thinking to repurchase it

I feel it depends entirely on what you're wearing. When you wear more neutral colours (such as outfits 1 and 3), the Melon looks better and adds a really nice accent! When you wear a stronger colour (outfit 2), the Melon is too much and the Beechwood is a better match.

I was on team beechwood but now I'm completely flipped. The melon looks so much better...the beechwood looks tired and the flowers seem out of place on it. Sure melon is more of a 'pop' and doesn't blend into all the outfits but the flowers look good on it and the color isn't obnoxiously pink. The beechwood seems strange to me now. Just my super blunt opinion.

Beechwood would be my pick. The melon looks too busy, IMO. If you wear solid white/black/navy/grey the melon could work.
