Hi all!.

Well I bought the Beechwood Tea Rose Rouge about a month ago. I love it. The problem is the Melon came out and I love it a little more. So, I'm thinking of selling the beachwood on eBay and buying a the Melon. My problem is I keep coming back to the Beechwood as being more flexible and I'm not quite a pink gal.

So, I thought I would post pictures and let people vote and comment, so what are you thoughts on this.

I prefer the Beechwood, but I am speaking for me, as I am not a pink person. I would find the Beechwood more versatile, and I think the colouring can easily translate across the seasons. Ultimately, you need to go with what you love. Sometimes that is both...:shocked::p

I thought about both, but they are expensive bags and I don't need both - or either for that matter - but I want one. :) I have 4 rogues - red, western, embroidery green suede with fringe and the beechwood.

Would love to hear what others think.

I think if you sell your beechwood you will lose a lot of money. Is it worth for you to spend extra $400-500 in order to purchase the same bag but in different color? I would keep the beechwood and purchase a tea rose dinky or rogue 25 especially you are not quite a pink girl.

I have the plain melon Rogue and I'm very surprised at how neutral it is. This may sound strange but the color to me seems to change depending on what I'm wearing as well as the lighting of where I'm at. I was at the Dr office this morning and the nurses were arguing over what color to call it, their opinions ranged from salmon to light brown. It was actually comical as they took the purse and went around the office staging it at different locations!

I liked both the beechwood and melon, it's a very hard choice. Right now I would say melon just because I'm in love with mine now.....

I bought it on eBay for $600, so I won't loose much and I have a 30% off coach repair coupon. So, I think I wont lose that much much. I think it's a $250. And that might be worth the difference.

That was kind of what I thought about it. When I think of the colors I wear, red, black, blues, whites, it works with all of them. That is why I got confused.

This is a tough one and a nice problem to have.

Then I would definitely buy one in melon :-)

Uh oh, Coach is going to start a new version of the dress color debate :hrmm:

@Galaxygrrl I voted beachwood as a few others did too but it's because that's what I would pick if I was presented with both and told to choose. Maybe it's because I don't have a good neutral or brown bag in my collection or maybe because the flowers already stand out so much I think adding a pink color to it may present too many problems in styling.

With that having been said, I do see the arguments for the melon. First, flowers are much better complimented by a soft pink shade than a soft brown shade, so the flowers on melon look more 'in their right place'. The pink is also very toned down and pretty so it works for people who aren't usually into pink, myself included. The melon also makes the flowers 'pop' more. I guess I'd have to ask what the rest of your bags and wardrobe are like. Do you have a lot of 'statement' bags / clothes? Do you have a brown / neutral bag? Etc. Just some stuff to think about.

Also, is it just me (or the picture?) but the flowers on the melon seem...upgraded and higher quality? Maybe I'm just seeing things. :whut:

I'm all for going with what makes your heart sing. [emoji4]

Surprisingly, I'm fairly anti-pink, but am finding myself drawn to the Melon colour for some reason. I think it's muted down enough that you don't feel like Barbie. The darker tea roses also add a really nice contrast and some variety/texture to the bag, whereas I feel the Beechwood looks too uniform and washed out.
