Hey Guys!
I'm trying to make an educated decision regarding my Christmas present to myself this year. I know this isn't everybody's thing, but I love studs (punk is in my blood, heh) and wear them regardless of trend. I want a quality studded black bag that will still look great when studs are no longer haute, and I'm trying to decide between two I like quite a bit. Can you help me decide? Or any other ideas? Maybe you've had experience with both designers and can testify that one is a better value or has more staying power? Two I'm eyeing are on sale for about the same price.
The Alexander McQueen Studded shopper I like because it seems roomy and I don't have many "shoulder bags." I've never owned a McQueen before but I ADORED him I think that Sarah Burton is doing great things with the brand these days. I can't say much about quality, I don't really know.
The other is the Saint Laurent Microstud Duffle 6. This bag looks so luxe and I feel like Saint Laurent is taking off in a big way. I briefly owned the same duffle in the mini size, but diminutive bags are not well suited to my lifestyle. I liked it but the size lacked "oomph." Does the shape look too masculine?
What do you think? Any input is appreciated.
