Which speedy to get? Speedy B 30? Speedy B 25? Or classic Speedy 25

I recently fell in love with the speedy design and would love to add to my collection. I currently have the mini version and nano speedy. Considering adding one for travel.

I have set my mind on a DE with strap. Although I love the look of classic design without strap better.

I love the 25 size but 30 might be more practical for travel? Sticking with DE for any weather travel bag. For practical reason, a strap would probably make more sense.

My LV travel wallet is huge. It holds passport and boarding pass. Not sure if it fit in a speedy 25


Shall I get
1) just the speedy B 30 DE for travel


2) speedy B 30 DE ( for travel)
+ classic 25 DE

Or Only

3) speedy B 25 DE ( have the best of the two worlds

I have the classic Speedy 30 and the Speedy B 25. I never reach for the classic although I enjoy having it in my collection because it was the first LV bag I purchased. The Speedy B 25 is perfection. It fits quite a bit and I love the ability to wear it on shoulder, crossbody, and that I can detach the strap and carry it handheld if I wanted to. I wouldn't buy both but have no regrets buying the Speedy B!

classic 25 is too small especially for someone over 5'5 normal weight, 30 looks casual and chic, I have had 25, 30 35 and 25 b 30 b and 35 b, 25b & 30b look wise not too much difference, all looking good but opening 30b definitely is better, 30b is suitable for everyday and travel, 25b may not hold as much if you want to use for travel, classic 25 looks dinky 30 & 30b are my favorite sizes, I get 30 every time

I have 30b and 30 classic right now, classic 30 is easy to wear and I prefer its look, and the banderlier Speedy's strap can be annoying dangling there if you don't wear it as shoulder / crossbody bag most of the time

I just bought the Speedy 25 because I did not like the look of the stripe of vachetta up the sides of the bag. I use my Pochette Metis strap attached to the handles and I have ordered a vachetta strap from Mcraft. Some of the newer limited edition Speedys have the strap attached to the handles, so I feel confident that if I don't over stuff my bag, carrying it with a strap attached to the handles should be fine. Using the Speedy B without the strap looks a bit odd because of the two metal hooks on each side IMHO. I think the DE looks good either way. I personally think I would get both bags...they are beautiful and timeless!

Speedy B 25 in DE is my favorite bag. It's so comfortable and versatile. The B style feels bigger than the classic 25 even though I know they are the same. I used to own the classic 25 and it felt like a child's bag on me (and I am slim and petite) but the 25 B is perfect! I cannot recommend this bag enough! I travel with it and it fits quite a lot. I can carry all my normal items, a bottle of water, and even a book!

My favorite Speedy - limited edition Speedy B 30 Tahitienne. It's at least 3 years old, and it looks brand new! When carrying with your items inside (instead of the tissue paper mine came with as photographed herein) and with the shoulder/crossbody strap attached, it creates a perfect "drape" or "handle" (pun intended lol).

Dear all! Thank you all so much for the feedback. I think I should probably go for speedy B 30 for the purpose. It will not be my day to day bag. I would probably only use it for travel since it is durable, light weight and can be tossed around.

I do love the look of speedy b 25. It is sooooooo cute! Although speedy b 30 looks a lot bigger, but for travel, I probably would need that size.

Since I have the nano speedy cutie already, maybe I should get speedy b 30 first. It would be such an awesome airport bag.

I really have not tried any of these bag on yet. The store has been so busy I cannot bother to wait in line.

Maybe after I try them on, then it would be a easier decision.

But I still cannot get my mind off speedy b 25. It looks a lot cuter cross body.

I use speedy 35 for travel (with addiction strap) and speedy b 25 for daily. I also have speedy nano and plan to add speedy b 30 for collection purposes. I think speedy 25 will be too small for travel, especially with the small opening. If you don’t have young kids like I do, speedy 30 should be enough for travel. My vote will be option 1.. Speedy B 30 DE..

Ya~ my travel wallet is so huge, i don’t know if it is going to fit in Speedyb 25.

35 is probably going to be too big for my need. I still wanted to be able to tour around the city ( when travel) with the same bag if i have to and also bring a smaller bag ( maybe the nano speedy or palm spring mini) for crowded place. But i have not tried speedy 35 either haha

I will go with speedy b 30 first. Try it out and see if I like it.

I know I’d get a speedy b25. I think having options is key. I do like hand carrying my bags but there are occasions I need a crossbody. As a travel bag I still think the 25 would work but I’m not sure if it will fit what your are talking about either. I have a totally mm I use as my travel bag but it’s a lot bigger. I love it and it’s perfect for me. I carry it handheld a lot but like that I can slip it on my shoulder too.

I don’t think the 30 looks good but that’s a preference thing. If I wanted something larger than the 25 I’d choose something different.

Do you ladies mind sharing your modeling picture of your speedy b 30 and your speedy b 25. I think i have narrowed down to one of these two. But after reading more i am not sure which one to go for now lol.

Size 25 was my original plan because it’s cute. But after reading, it looks like 30 will be better for travel. I am really not sure now haha
