I like the shape of the cushion cut, but as others have said, the emerald cut is very elegant. Both are beautiful and look good on you in the pictures. I guess my vote is cushion cut but good luck with whatever you choose. [emoji4]

I finally went for the Soleste cushion cut with 1.16 ct centre stone, E colour, VS1 and also got the matching diamond band. Thank you for letting me share and all your invaluable advice [emoji16]
For me there is nothing more beautiful or elegant than an emerald cut (my e-ring is an emerald cut) so i have to say go with the emerald.
