Thank you! I am very happy with the size, the colour, everything!

I am just a little bit ... troubled, because the bag was made in Morocco. Not because I love France so much BUT I fear for the conditions of those peole working in Morocco.
What I hope: Longchamp is a family run business and I read articles that they do visit the manufactures in Morocco and Tunesia, they go there, educating the workers, supplying with material from France. Sounds not so bad, no? While other luxury brands never set foot in their factories in China or Bangladesh ....
I don't want to fund exploitation.
Should not have googled!!! :annoyed:

Back to the topic: it's such a nice purse!
Don't worry. Morocco and Tunisia are very close to France and Longchamp visit the factories very regularly.
No exploitation there. I share your concern about Bengladesh....One of the reasons I boycott fast fashion brands which outsource their production in that country....

And the winner is Longchamp!
Almost Le Pliace Cuir. Well, not exactly. This cutie won my heart:

I will post a photo tomorrow in daylight. The length is perfect and the design is simple, classy and sporty, I can easily "upstyle" and "downstyle" it. Plus: it's extremly lightweight. Looking back at the first OP with the 1st link, the bag that was too small and just not right, I would say the Longchamp 2.0 is even pretty close to that initial idea.

In case you make it to Vienna, the store at the Graben is wonderful! Light, airy. big and the staff is exceptional welcoming. I highly recommend the store. It opened about 1 year ago.
Another nice aspect is that the store closes at 7pm whereas many other stores in the 1st district close at 6.30pm. #afterworkpleasure

Thank you for the great support. Without the your input I would probably be still searching, spending hours online, browsing websites.
Excellent choice! I really like the color and the style reminds me of the classic LC small crossbody bags. Hope you and your little bag will get to experience many exciting adventures together!

That's what I was hoping - the closeness and also that French is spoken in both countries gives me hope, that the family (owners of Longchamp) act responsible. Nice to hear that you boycott Fast Fashion. Also saves us from decluttering the closet 3 times a year!

Thank you Amazona for sharing my excitement. What you can't see is how soft and light the little bag is. I am looking forward to wearing it with my Trenchcoat in fall, a blue sweater and a pair of Jeans ...
Actually ALL colours of my wardrobe will match, since my colours are 95% blue, white, grey and beige.

Oooh but I do know how light the bag is - it's not long ago when I went to the LC boutique to feel up a few bags and SLGs, and I think the 2.0 leather feels divinely soft and light! Sounds like you're in for a great fall with the perfectly matching bag!

Hi everybody!
long time no hear ... I just came back home, returning from a week in Venice and I can highly recommend the 2.0 crossbody bag. Not only because it is feather-lightweight but also because it's really sturdy.
While being in Venice, I leaned over many bridges, made of rough stone, leaned towards walls, while being on top of a bell tower, trying to get the best view and not just once the 2.0 was between my body and the rough stones.

The front pocket (no zip, just a "slip-in-pocket") held my ticket for the public transportation. You need to check in at the gates of the waterbusses and I could keep the ticket inside the pocket, just held my purse in front of the ticket-scanner: check! (this saves precious time when the waterbus is approaching and you can walk straight to the boat, no searching for tickets inside the purse).

I love the purse so much, I might visit the store and see what other designs the 2.0 llne has to offer.

Attached you see the bag, accompanying me from morning till the evening. Sometimes you hardly see it, it is not bulky at all.
Big time love!

I hope you enjoy the pics!
As I mentioned in the first posting: I am 5'8''.

(gosh, I look tired at 18:45 at the Foncadio dei Tedeschi)
In one photo you only see a tiny bit of the strap: you can easily swing the purse to your back, however you like it best.

Thank you again for recommending this brand. It was a LIVE SAVER on those long days in Venice.
I am really glad I did not walk around with a backbag, visiting one of the most elegant cities I know.
