Which size Tiffany Elsa Peretti Diamonds By the Yard Studs?

Are you set on getting the Tiffany branded ones? I got a pair made by Brian Gavin diamonds that look like the Tiffany ones that were way less expensive.

You could get pre-set ones in white gold, or get custom ones and pick your own stones and choose the metal (platinum if you want).

Here's the pre-set ones that have diamonds already (.25ctw, so about .125 per stone) in white gold:

or the settings alone that let you pick your own diamonds--platinum I think are about $100 more for the setting. Then they (and or I) can help you pick the stones separately.

Here are mine, around 15pts per ear.

They are so beautiful, congrats!!
Yes im kinda stuck on tiffany jewellery, i love them

No worries, just thought I'd offer another option. AND that also helps you see that size on an ear. Mine are .15s per ear, and that will give you a frame of reference. They're identical to the Tiffany ones. I think the .12 per ear size (so .20 or .34) would be a great size, it's dainty but still THERE, but if the budget won't go that far .14 would be great. The point is for them to be tiny, but going slightly larger gives you a little more sparkle.

Have you tried them on? IF you can get to a store (I am not sure if you were planning to buy online or in store) I would see if you can try them on so you can see what size appeals most to you.

yes, before i purchase I will go to the store and try them on. in my budget that I want to spend would fit the .20, but I saw these diamond studs from the photo on another post in the TPF and I think this size is so beautiful. if I remember it right they said it was a .50 ct. so if I want to buy them from tiffany the .34 is already more than I wanted to spend for them. I love Elsa perettis work so much, but maybe I should reconsider and get another brand to get the size I like? what do you think?

That's not the same style of stud, they're likely prong set. I would consider pricing out a copy for larger stones if you'd rather have larger than the brand. Weigh that carefully.

I agree with Ame, from the picture you posted those studs look like a 6 prong or possibly an 8 prong and not a bezel set.

I love Tiffany's as well, but when it comes to diamond studs, I'm currently looking for .50 or .45 cttw prong studs at the moment and won't be going to Tiffany's for those as the price point would be way out of budget for me.

I'd also recommend pricing out various options at different jewellers and trying on various sizes to see what you like best :)

hope this is helpful :D

thank you for sharing, these are so beautiful!! this is what I would like to wear for an every day look.
you said this is the .16 size.
on the website they only have .14 or .20 right now. to have them most similar look like yours should I go for the .14 or the .20, what do you think? :)

yes you're right. I rather have a bezel pair than a prong set. just like the size of the studs that they shine but still look subtle, for an everyday look :)

thank you :)
but I like the photo that bagsforcady posted a lot, that's a very cute size for a diamond stud with bezel, like I would love to wear. but the size she says they don't offer on the tiffany online store.
maybe they have more sizes in the regular stores?

I think 0.10 to 0.20 per stud is a great size. Go for Elsa Peretti, I am a huge fan of her pieces too.

:) i think so too, i have a few pieces of her collection and i love them all!

now i'm getting a little confused regarding the sizes. on the website i can pick for example the .20 ct studs. i think this means .10 ct per stud, both together .20ct, right?

the photo that bagsforcady posted modelling her .16ct studs, does that mean each stud is .08 and together they're .16, or .16 per stud and together they are .32? trying to figure out the different sizes. i love the size she is modelling!
thank you!! :)

I just saw that they also have diamond studs in a platin bezel, also the same peretti diamonds by the yard collection. The ones i was looking for were in sterling silver. The Platin studs have different sizes, they have .16 and .28.

this is so fun talking and sharing and considering which ones to get - makes the time till i actually get them go by faster somehow ;) and makes learning for the exams for graduation much more fun as well :D
