For myself, it depends on the season. I like smaller bags in the summer months (20/25) because of the lighter fabrics I wear and the less I carry — and larger bags in the cooler months (35) so I can put hats/mittens/scarves/sweaters/shawl/etc in it. For bags I will use year-round, I like a middle size (B30).

It's size 25 which is perfect for me. Mind you 20 wasn't out yet. I would love 20, but I'm cut off from purchasing any more purses this year

Speedy 30 is a must if want to carry the iPad (it will hold 11" with a somewhat slim case) or go bigger like Speedy 35 40, or Montsouris GM old model, Neverfull MM etc to carry iPad or smaller laptop, if no need to carry iPad then Speedy 25 is a very good choice, personally I prefer Speedy 30, it's easier to get in and out than Speedy 25, I have Speedy classic & bs 25 & 30 & the Nano Speedy old model too, haven't used it yet.
Nano size. I've pared down to a card holder, keys and a lip balm. I still have extra room if needed. Fantastic grab and go crossbody, and love the top handles when I just feel like a light hand carry. I used to own the 25, and that was great when I carried a lot more.
20 seems to hold all my stuff ok and is light, so 20! The biggest I have is 25.
I am using a Speedy 30 today, not has a purse, but as a 24-hour overnight bag. I have two outfits, PJs, and cosmetics in it. Carrying a Lana of London as a handbag.
Obviously, this would not work in the winter. But I love this bag in the winter because I can toss in an umbrella, large scarf, gloves, etc.
The 25 has never worked for me. I cannot explain why. I have bought and sold that size about 5 times and have finally given up. But I have 2 BBs and love them. Spacious for a small bag and more low key.
I use my 40 for air travel. It seems to fit under every seat, no matter the plane.

I have the 25 in de and 20 in mono. Love them both. I typically carry the same amount in both sizes though. Lol
I love my speedy 40 especially after having all the vachetta replaced this year. I'm a 5'11 male and carry a lot of SLGs and occasionally returns/errands in the bag so i appreciate the extra space. I don't use it daily unless i'm carrying my macbook or things to return with me. maybe i'll start using it for school this fall...
it was either $750 or $800 for total leather replacement..i did a keepall 45 at the same time and can't remember which.
I replaced full vachetta (even the leather around the inside pocket with a zipper) last year sometime, and it cost around $650.
Nice. They added a zipper to my pocket and redid the leather as well. I asked them to add a d-ring as the model I have didn’t originally come with one. Love having new leather on the “old quality” canvas- it’s just thicker
