hi everyone, i have a big dilemma i don't know which want to go for, the rolex mother of pearl and diamond bezel is year 1995 now for $3500 more i can get the smooth bezel year 2000 ( heavier bracelet, link are solid gold compare to the mother of pearl). which rolex do you like better? thank you in advance for all the help you can give me!

I was in same position a year ago but ended up choosing a brand new TT Daytona & the reason for this was because the only Daydates I could find had the old style bracelet & the links are hollow & most the ones I looked at the strap had stretched so I was concerned in case the strap broke, I was told by my jeweller that it can happen with the older strap.

I would choose the newer model but choose the one you love because you have to wear it so you have to make sure your going to love it. JMO

It depends if you want a more feminine, dressy look - MOP. The one with the smooth bezel is more clean and understated (I prefer it!)

I personally like the look of the MOP and diamond one, but like the fact the other ones is newer/construction wise. I feel these are 2 completely different looks. do you have other watches?
