Which ring do you like better?

I am going to Las Vegas Sunday to pick upthe ring and a few other pieces of jewelry. I am 99% sure I am going to go with the style of #1. #2 is VERY close behind.

my mom has about the same size pear diamond in setting number1 and it's absolutely gorgeous....definitely 1!!

Number 2. I have a tacori ring that has diamonds on the side of the ring and it is a beautiful ring. I like things a bit different and do not want my ring settings to be like everyone else.
You should check out the Tacori settings at www.billbarnes.com. You can get some great ideas on settings from some great designers.

#2-It is simply elegant. The band allows the solitaire to be the center of attention.

I voted for #2 as I love that band but #1 is a close second. Also, as someone else mentioned... Katherine Heigl's pear shaped engagement ring the the halo is absolutely stunning! Have u considered that? I guess it depends on whether or not you will be wearing it as an engagement ring though...
