I am currently, and have worked this way in the past as well, selecting a particular number of items to sell. In this case, I am going to start with 10 bags and take them to the consignment shop. I think I will start with my least expensive bags first so that I am not dwelling on the fact that I am losing a lot of money. For example, if it were clothing, if I have 10 black shirts, I will choose 1 black shirt to part with that is the oldest or least used. Or I may turn that shirt into a workout shirt or grimey shirt, and then throw away the old workout shirt of grimey shirt. Then I will look at the pink shirts, and so on. I would do something similar for my bag. If I have four tote bags, and one is not particularly attractive any more, I will part with one, regardless of brand. If I have 4 green bags, one mini, 2 small, and 1 medium, I will part with the redundant bag (if I don’t absolutely love and use it). I don’t necessarily gravitate toward one particular brand. I have a couple of inexpensive bags that I absolutely love and I have a few high end bags I no longer love.

Thanks, I totally get why you're choosing between these two bags.
I was asking because I'm downsizing, too (clothes and bags) and am trying to figure out a good system to follow. I usually donate once I find that I don't love something anymore, or if I have several similar pieces then I remove the multiples.
However, I'm at a point where I love everything I own and can't figure out how to start the process. I guess it doesn't matter how we do it, so long as we just get the ball rolling!

I voted to keep the Reissue. My bias - I have Reissues and love Reissues. My black Reissue is one of most frequently carried bags. I’m not familiar with the Niki. Which bag do you use less frequently and which bag do you love less? Good luck and best wishes with your paring down exercise, you’ve shared many lovely bags in your collection.
