Which one to choose as 1st necklace?

^I’m not well-versed on VCA, so forgive my ignorance, but do you think the guilloche will date? I’ve always seen it as a classic design and so pretty and feminine. Assuming you have the style to match I would imagine it would go with most outfits apart from perhaps the most casual. I can see it looking beautiful over a high neck sweater or with a dress.
My vote would be for the guilloche, as although a diamond pendant is classic it is a bit boring/predictable in my opinion (and I say that as someone who owns a similar design!). Not a fan of the Chanel necklace, personally.

As with everything, what you feel would most fit your lifestyle is what you should get.
However, here are my 2 cents. I don’t really like the Chanel necklace, it reminds me of a fussier take on Tiffany’s bean. I’ll also admit that I’m not really a fan of the VCA. Though I’m part Irish, I don’t really get the clover motif. Personally, I think if you got the VCA or Chanel you’d get tired of it. I also don’t see the VCA or Chanel as something that will go with everything.
Given this choice, I would get the diamond pendant. I prefer classic pieces that can be worn daily. I also think if you ever tired of your diamond pendant you have endless options to refresh. For example, you could change the setting, change the style by adding a halo, or you could purchase another stone and make earrings or even a ring.
This is my diamond solitaire pendant in a martini setting. I wear it daily no matter my outfit.
