Hi,

I’ve been thinking about what to choose from these styles.

I like minimal but unique outfits and my wardrobe is more in neutral color palette, especially black.
I don’t wear much jewelry and don’t have a real gold necklace yet.
This will be my first and substantial one that I‘d tend to wear every day.

What would you choose between theses choice?
For the coco crush I‘m undecided whether to go for the yellow or beige gold.
Or I just jump through theses and pick a solitaire stud instead as a basic piece everyone seems to have.
The con is that it might be too plain and not help elevate my basic look.

I’d appreciate your inputs.

The diamond for me.

IMO, this forum is very pro VCA, but all of your choices are different enough that I suggest waiting and trying on all in person if you have not already done so. Any of them are relatively minimal and classic, but I think you have to try on before you know which feels like you. Also, as you get older, jewelry shrinkage is real, so you may want to take scale and size into account even if you believe yourself to be minimal. But, they are all beautiful in their own way!

Imo, a diamond solitaire is the most classic and versatile of them all. You’d probably get a lot of use out of it and you can go to your local jeweler to get one of a size and quality of your preference. (Brand names always inflate the prices of such simple pieces). I pretty much wear mine everyday, don’t take it off, I even shower with it lol.

my second would be the VCA. It is a more feminine look but if that’s your style then it’s a worthy consideration.

The coco crush…sigh, I like the coco crush rings but that necklace, excuse my bias, but that’s like a literal definition of the coco crush, it looks like a crushed/flattened ring and it is not to my personal liking. When the model is wearing it, it looks like she’s wearing half a ring.
I also have a pet peeve with pieces looped by chains as I get paranoid about the rubbing of the chain onto the piece and creating scratches but that’s just me  (on a separate note, I’m okay with scratches on my bracelets and rings that were made by me during normal wear, just not being rubbed by a chain)

But like @880 said, best to try them on in person, take photos and think about it. I’m sure you will find the one that makes your heart sing! Good luck!

Wow thank you for all inputs.
VCA seems to be very popular here
I love the beautiful shiness of the guilloche but I’m afraid that is a bit too feminine and I could get bored quicker than the other styles.

That's the precise reason I don't want another VCA (although I've voted VCA for you!). I voted VCA as I read you mentioned "con is too plain if diamond solitaire".

the Guilloche necklace is loud. That's to me. It's almost on eye level of others, say compared to ring/bracelets. If i were to own the necklace, I doubt it has much mileage as likewise, I find it too feminine to go with most of my wardrobe. Even on my wrist, I already feel it's too feminine for me.

but for solitaire, I'm sure you can wear it 24/7 without any consideration.

so it really depends what lifestyle you have to carry it and make the most ROI (my motto on bags and jewellery).

hope you'll be able to get to try them all at stores and take lots of pics to bring home before your big purchase.

You could get a substantial and beautifully cut diamond in a pendant setting for the same price as the VCA, eg,

I love VCA but imho the guilloche will date, whereas you’ll be wearing the diamond forever!
