Which Neverfull Would You Choose?

I have an epi Neverfull in Indigo and when they rolled out the recent version with an interior pocket, the Kenyan Fawn sure caught my eye. I LOVE my epi Neverfull and enjoy flying under the radar. FYI, I find the epi leather is easier to scratch than I would have expected.

The Indigo version was matte like the Épi they use for most men's SLGs. That was kind of a special edition. These new ones are regular, shiny, very very hard wearing classic Épi.

So you think the new Epi Neverfulls would wear better? I have my eye on the Kenyan Fauve and if I thought it would hold up more than my indigo, I might pull the trigger!

Absolutely. If you have any other Épi product that is shiny, it should be exactly like those. Shiny Épi is hard-pressed (very rigid) and has a shiny dual-paint coating just on the ridges of Épi (the dunes, as I call them). The Indigo was a fairly soft leather, with the Épi pattern simply hot stamped into it, no heavy-duty coating and finishing.

Loving my epi and it’s perfect for work! I like it cinched too as a large bag. The silver hardware is so nice and I like it matched with the monogram pochette and black leather accent. For those of you who voted DE you weren’t wrong though. I found a like new one and grabbed it. I’m officially on bag ban. There’s nothing I need. I have my eye on the new trunkie, the Diane in black empriente and east west pochette Métis but I literally don’t need any of those. They are just what I would go for.

I have seller’s remorse as you all predicted and miss the Neverfull. Would you go for preloved Damier Ebene in excellent condition or a new Epi to go more quiet luxury? I like my Epi Alma bb but not sure how it would be in the neverfull. Also, I love empriente but I always see wear on the edges of those on preloved market which turns me off to buying it. I know DE is my favorite canvas but is it too overdone? Orrr should I splurge and go new reversible style? I’d prefer not to spend that amount on the neverfull but it does have many bag looks in one.

If it makes you feel any better. I did the same thing 😅 I miss it too. I have the DE totally that I thought would fill the void but there is something about that darn DE NF that gets you! I was so sick of dealing with the peeling handles but I think the newer glaze is less prone to cracking so I play with the idea of replacing it

Ok after all of my indecisiveness the preloved DE was sold and I would not pay full price and although I would still love it and could’ve watched to another one bc it’s my favorite print - I went with epi in the boutique and I’m in love! Only complaint is that they removed the LV embossed in bottom corner and they made the pouch so that you can’t really add a way to wear it crossbody though I doubt I would anyway. I actually like that they did monogram with black leather and silver hardware as the pouch. Yes - it’s less leather but it look really cool IMO. It smells divine and feels so good. The interior is premium and now has an interior zip pocket. I think it’s perfect for work. If you know you know but it’s not screaming logo. Thank you all for your input. You were not wrong to say DE bc I do love it! But I’m happy with this tote for what I intend to use it for. I also like it cinched bc my speedy 25 is the only larger mom bag I have and now I can use this like a neonoe and have a large black bag too. 🙌
