Which Necklace: VCA, Tiffany, or Cartier?

Big fan of VCA and Cartier. Have the VCA VA (pave version) pendant (YG) and Cartier Clash small. Love them both, however find the Clash to be edgier and simpler to wear with different necklines. Pic attached....

Your picture of the necklace in the Clash thread totally put this piece on my radar! Mod shots are so, so helpful. Thank you!

That's so funny I have the 9mm bean necklace and earrings and love them but I tend to stay away from bigger jewelry. I do have the vintage alhambra pendant in the gmop and do like that size
I tried the larger bean yesterday and realized it wasn’t for me. I’m sticking with my 9 mm but getting it lengthened. Thanks for the input that vintage Alhambra doesn’t look too large:-)

Change in plans! I contacted an SA I met a few weeks ago to locate a vintage hammered rose gold piece. None was available, but the sweet version was available in store. In less than 24 hours, it was shipped to me. I think it’s an exquisite piece of artwork, but it is rather tiny. Then again, at 5 foot 1 inch, so am I. Thoughts?

I have the sweet and I love it! I like the tiny sparkle -- I'm an inch shorter than you. However, the vintage size does have more presence. You wouldn't think so, but the size difference is very noticable when observed side by side. I would suggest trying on a vintage size pendant for comparison if you have any doubts.

I think the sweet looks good on you, but you have to love what you wear or you won't reach for it or be happiest with it. I have vintage size bracelet and vintage ear clips and I thought for sure I'd want a vintage pendant, but the sweet stole my heart.

Thank you! Interesting that you have other vintage pieces but chose sweet for the necklace. I totally understand and would love to see pics!

I ordered a vintage gray MOP necklace today from the website for comparison. Sweet versus vintage and hammered gold versus a stone should let me weigh all my options. The vintage should arrive tomorrow. I hope the sweet remains the winner—the price difference between sweet and vintage is a big jump:-o

Here's my sweet next to a vintage onyx earclip. I really liked how the sweet just fits into the hollow of the throat. To me, it's delicate and it's little and a part of me/for me, instead of an adornment. I have other pieces for more attention/presence/accent, If that makes sense? I think if I did ever get a vintage pendant, the rg/gmop would be my first choice! Definitely for some vintage or even magic size is their happy spot. It's great to have that choice.

I would keep the all gold version for every day. It is such a pretty necklace to never take off

This picture really highlights the differences so well! I completely agree about the sweet. Thank you!
