The depth is very slim. I was able to fit my long flat card wallet, tissues, lip balm, card pouch and key pouch. As my long flat card wallet was rather long, I did have to push it in further whenever I want to zip the bag close. I will not say that it fits a lot but it does fit the essentials. Due to its slim depth, it does not allow you to stuff more things within, cos it then shows bulges and you will also need to remove things on top to get to the things at the bottom. I like the bag for how compact it is but eventually I did rehome it cos I had to play tetris with it. All said, I still miss it from time to time as it really is a very compact crossbody and if you carry little or intend to use it as a companion bag (with backpack or tote), I do think it is very useful. I have nothing bad to say about it. Just purely user preferences as I prefer to stuff things in and not having to worry about placing them properly before I can zip it close. Hope this is of some help to you. Which colour are you eyeing?

I know exactly what you're talking about and it drives me mad - my husband and I call it 'bag tetris' as well, ha ha. The colourway I'm considering is the Débridé, the seasonal version with the suede front panel and white & green woven top handle. I adore the mixed textures look, but it only came in 3 styles, 2 of which are saddlebags and I don't really do saddlebags. And this one may be too small for my needs. Will have to do some serious thinking as to if I actually will use it.

You are most welcome. The Debride version is very unique. For what it is worth, the suede version might not show bulges like the foulonne leather version. Also, it depends on the essentials you are going to fit in. Many times, I was imagining that the bag can work if I were to use the Foulonne six slot card holder. Then perhaps bag tetris is not necessary. I did fit in a 16cm umbrella into mine before; but had to leave the bag unzipped cos it became a tight fit. Ultimately, I do have to admit it is a tad small.
