Omg - those earrings are totally singing to me! But really - green with purple and black dress? My mom said green gemstone bracelet and I yelled at her!
I think the difference is in both the way that you wear green -- the color green it is. If your Mom suggested any old green bracelet, it might not work. Has to be the right color and style for the dress.

The reason why I thought of it has to do with the color wheel.

Both green and Violet are derivatives from primary colors...and they complement each other. You might have to experiment to find the right green, but I think the earrings I mentioned first off, is a good starting point.

Here are some star photos for ideas:

Cameron is wearing light blue, which looks great with her bright magenta dress. Since your dress looks darker, I chose the darker tone of green:

Kelly has purple hair. Look at her with these emerald color earrings:

Another red carpet look with green earrings:

My first thought was classic and classy all black accessories, nails and shoes. I wouldn't wear a watch just earrings and bracelet and whatever ring you would like.

The green earrings are gorgeous but If I wore them I wouldn't wear any other jewelery, with the dress being so pretty and having a pattern I would minimize as much as possible and let it stand on it's own.

It looks great on you by the way!

saligator - I know nothing about you but I really like your tastes! I'm going to order the top shoes (not full cage) and both earrings you suggested. I'm leaning towards the Kate Spade ones because I think they are prettier. But I need to see both on me next to dress. so hard to tell from picture. What do you or anyone else here on forum recommend for wrists? I feel naked without anything. I have a big wide 18 carat yellow gold bangle from my great grandmom. Would that work?

i think a YG bangle would look great, but you'll have to see everything all together just to make sure :D maybe bring your dress when you check out the KJL earrings?

Thank you. I like your tastes too! It's a gorgeous dress!

My motto is to let one thing be the star of the show and the other accessories are supporting players. What bag do you plan to carry? Are you going to need a wrap?

A gold bangle sounds like it might work, but you'd need to see it next to the dress and earrings and shoes.

Why it might work: if the shoes are gold and the bracelet is gold and the earrings have some gold, the eye will travel up (and down) your outfit easily the gold theme will tie everything together.

If it is very large and very wide, it might be an eye stopping point and that would make it the focus.

You'll have to see what works, but it sounds promising!

I'm at Macy's now because it is 5 minutes from my house. If they don't have the same earrings you linked, I will order from nordstroms. And the shoes too. Thanks so much for all your help!

Good luck! Big bold earrings nothing to be afraid of (your dress needs an anchor that is bold and plain) -- and a contrast like Green makes it fun and elegant at the same time.

Strappy metallic sandals are a classic go to!

I would do black on wrist or nails but not both. (Actually I liike the idea of dark plum on nails, then no black on wrists.) I would not do fuschia because it would be too matchy. Maybe silver bangles and ring(s) with clear stones, wispy silver dangle earrings, black or metallic sandals and clutch. The dress has plenty of star power.

For earrings, I might do something like this which echos the patterns in the dress:

Or maybe something with more dangly pieces, and maybe a small fuschia or black bead as a minor embellishment.

I just ordered the Kate Spade sunrise cluster flower chandelier earring. Hope it works. Price was right because they were on sale. $76.80 I think. Now to try gold strappy sandals.....
