Which is better: Zip-around or Continental Wallet?

Today I saw this lady using a miu miu continental wall, with 2 snap closures, similar to the prada continental one. She seemed to have a hard time trying to close the snaps.

Continental was my first love. But now I'm steering more towards zip-around.

Thanks everyone for your inputs! :urock:

^^ Yes that can be a problem. I would like to see them go the way of LV and use a one snap closure which you can do with one hand but I am not sure it would work with the materials PRADA use. LV uses much stiffer materials so I think a one snap is perfect for them but I can't see it working on a nappa or vitello daino in reality.

Zip wallet is huge and carries a LOT. I can fit 2 passports and credit cards, cash etc Very handy for travel :smile1:

i have both and I much prefer the zip around which surprised me since I originally bought the continental because i liked the looks better. Now that I have a zip around I never use the other one. I love the zip around because it's always secure and the organization inside is much better for me.

I also have both...and I used to have another continental. Now I have one of each...and I actually like both for the reasons stated by the others in this thread. But...I have to say, sometimes it is a pain to try to snap those snaps...and I often only do one.

It really is purely a matter of taste... ;)

Mine is a zip around - definitely feels more secure, however I LOVE the look of the continental - it's less functional looking and I don't mean that in a bad way, it just looks nicer and a bit dressier - KWIM?!

I vote ZIP.
I just bought one at Holt Renfrew.
The continental is a little small and as some have said, may be difficult to close when it gets too full. Zip does feel safer :)

Whichever you choose, you'll enjoy it.
I know I am...

I like continental. For me I like to get in and out of my wallet quickly and I think zip around would be more trouble that way. I have my continental loaded with lots of credit cards, etc. I think it holds a lot and isn't bulky at all. The two snaps are a bit of trouble sometimes but as long the the wallet is inside your bag, you can leave one open if you're in a hurry and you wouldn't lose anything.
