Which Gucci Horsebit 1955 bag should I get, canvas/leather piping or all leather and which color?

I am not sure because I think this bag looks beautiful in both canvas and the full leather version. I feel like I would need one of each. Although they are the same bag the full leather elevates the bag and makes it look so chic and luxurious. The canvas one is cooler and more wearable as an everyday bag.

I have mostly black, red and a green gucci Zumi. I am still very undecided. Canvas or leather and if leather which color.
However I think it is perhaps better to get it in leather...

Ok I change my vote. Since you already have black red green bags, canvas would be a nice change. Plus it goes with everything. Really can’t go wrong with any of these choices.

After much thinking, I think I will get the all leather version, however, I am torn between the brown leather or the black leather now .
Thanks for your input @snibor and @Miss World, I wish I could get both versions, how awesome can that be. I love cool but chic and luxurious sounds wonderful.

Wow! Looks amazing really. Very cool. However, many ladies own the canvas bag with brown or red. Maybe the leather version in black or brown could look more exclusive...

Oh I’m sorry I was supposed to upload those photos to the Gucci Horsebit thread. I hope you don’t think I was trying to convince you to get canvas hehe I think the leather version is stunning. What’s the reason you like brown for? And what’s the reason you like black for? x

I love the Gucci Horsebit 1955 bag in brown leather because it looks 'vintage-ish' and the black version looks discreet and classic. I love both but has to choose only one. So torn but must decide quickly...

Do you have a store near or are you buying online?

Honestly, you can't go wrong with either. Black maybe easier to wear on a casual night out or with a suit (if you ever wear one) but the brown looks fresh in 2020. Check out your full wardrobe to decide.

I m not usually a brown lover, but this bag looks best in brown in my opinion. There is something perfect about that shade. That would be my first choice.

I do actually wear suits at times. I wear a lot of black and dark colors in winter to the otherwise white or red or prints in spring/summer. Never had a brown bag before and am afraid to try as I know with black it goes with anything even with brighter colors for the summer. Kinda of confused now...

I think you answered your own question actually.

I have lots of brown bags (which I love) but I am swimming in a sea of fabulous black bags and am not sorry for a single one. Black would seem to fit with your wardrobe all year round .

Yes right? I mean each black bag is different somehow even though it's black. Like a black Saint Laurent Kate bag will not be the same as a Gucci Horsebit 1955 black bag even though both are black. Each one gives a different vibe I guess.
I think I will go for the black as I am a scaredy cat.

Not all bags are best in black but this one is truly stunning and a different vibe to the other colours.
