I love my Airwrap. It paid for itself by replacing salon blowdrys. Even DH thinks it looks better than most salon jobs - and I am a HUGE klutz. Basically I just randomly use the bigger curl attachment and somehow it comes out well. That said I live in a city where hair is generally a fairly soft and natural look.

I forgot to update this thread with my experience with the Shark Flexstyle. In short, I love it! All the good things I saw on the video reviews are true.
  • The blow dryer feature is fast and easy. It has temperature adjustments and also air blowing adjustments, which are of course really nice, especially for my daughter who has zero tolerance for the heat of dryers on her head.
  • The curlers are super easy to use. I have no trouble with swapping the left and right curlers, doing one side of my head first and then the other side. The hair wraps very easily. It's super surprising as I've never used this type of technology before. I use Amika blowout spray on each section as it dries around the curler and my hair comes out with great body and wave. If you want tighter curls, you'd still need a curling iron, but if the Flexstyle will give soft bouncy curls on the ends of longer hair like my daughter's if you use a good product to help it stay.
  • The diffuser is awesome too. Enough air gets through so that it dries the hair but not so much that it blows all your curls/waves straight.
This one product is great for hair drying, adding body and waves, and straightening/smoothing. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for an all-in-one tool and/or dyson alternative. SO glad LavenderIce introduced it!! Thank you!!
