Which bracelet to get- Grace Kelly or Vendome exclusive?

Thank you very much PT! Most likely I will miss this round, because I would prefer to wait until she can have the COVID vaccine (in 2 more months) before bringing her through a crowded place. It looks like I should get to work on her passport though! My SA knows I would like to be notified when they receive their next shipment, so fingers crossed the timing works out. Hopefully they will have more coming in, because this line was intended to last for 18 months. Worst case; I suppose that I can SO something similar in the future I have a soft spot for the Gold MOP mostly for symbolism, as I have the matching holiday pendant which was released for the 50th anniversary of the Alhambra design.

As you cannot make it this round, the pressure is off. That said, given you mentioned a SO, I would like to share my thoughts...

I think Golden MOP (e.g. the Golden South Sea pearl) is magnificent. It glows like the sun or like a drop of a liquid gold.
If it were me, I would SO a 5 motif YG Golden MOP. For me, I would want to see 5 full motif glowing next to each other.
I know you love alternating, so this might be the bracelet for you, but I feel Golden MOP should be the sole star, no competition. In this case, I do not think the pave adds much.
If a SO were a possibility, I think a 5 Golden MOP motifs would be gorgeous.

Just my two cents for another thought. Ok, I'll zip it now!

Hi everyone, I've been offered these 2 pieces and am torn as to which to get. I came to Paris convinced I would get a Vendome exclusive and was never a fan of gold MOP.

Turns out gold MOP is beautiful in person and might be easier to wear everyday. But the blue is so striking.

Any and all opinions welcome. TIA!

As much as I am loving the combo of gold mop and pave, the blue is so gorgeous against your skin tone that my vote goes to the blue.

Thank you everyone so much for giving such great insights. I ended up with the gold MOP - for now.
Unfortunately, after already doing some damage at H and Dior, my conscience won't let me spring for both although it is mighty tempting.

I know I will get both eventually but the gold MOP is a limited run of just 24 pieces, and my SA has assured me I will be able to get a vendome one the next time, so long as I give her enough advance notice.

I know! My SA contacted me this morning that she has one for me, but I need to pick it up in person. Looking into options that don't include leaving my baby and flying to France!

I'm guessing you are after the gold MOP too? I think there are still 5-6 pieces left in Vendome so hopefully you will be able to make it down while they still have stock! My SA told me 12 pcs were allocated to Monaco- not sure if this helps.

Hi! I forgot to give my vote. I vote GMOP. GMOP is from the Golden South Sea pearl, and it is beautiful. It glows and is like liquid gold.

I typically like stones that pop, but this porcelain is a bit too dark, so it looks recessed. Plus, I am not a porcelain fan; it looks too flat. I prefer a natural stone over man-made porcelain for fine jewelry. It's all preference of course, so you have to ask yourself fo you really like porcelain or are you caught up in the hype you are offered one.

For me, if I wanted a blue 5 motif, I would rather have blue agate or lapis.

I would love a lapis! Unfortunately I missed out on the lapis collection. Wonder if i can SO something in lapis .

My SA in SG showed me a blue agate 5-motif that was so dark it looked almost like the vendome blue. I was so close to pulling the trigger but this was before my Paris trip so I thought I would wait. Maybe I'll try to get that just to scratch that blue stone itch

I wish I could attach a video of the bracelet. Gold MOP is so hard to capture in a photo.

Ever since I brought the bracelet home, I've been falling in love with it more and more. The gold MOP is such a beautiful stone in person and its colour keeps shifting in every light from almost like a very light tigers eye in some to the palest champagne gold. And of course, who doesn't love the added sparkle of diamonds

Thank you! And yes, the white MOP on the earrings have such an amazing iridescence in them, I could stare at them all day...lol. VCA pieces really are best appreciated in person.
