Which bracelet to get- Grace Kelly or Vendome exclusive?

Oof that’s a hard choice. Both are beautiful! Which piece do you think you would wear more with your outfits? The gold MOP is a very nice elegant neutral and would go with almost anything. The vendome blue is more bold and dark. I personally wear a lot of black and blues so I might have a slight preference on the vendome personally than gold MOP, but the natural iridescence of MOP can’t be replicated in porcelain!

I think I will most likely get abit more wear out of the gold mop since it is such a lovely neutral.

On the other hand, I do wear lots of blues, greens and neutral colours so will have plenty of opportunity to wear the blue porcelain as well. Hence my dilemma!

My main consideration for the blue is that since it is so striking, I may end up limiting it to more special occasions whereas the gold mop is more subtle even with the diamonds so maybe easier to wear on a regular basis. But that blue...

Decisions decisions

I feel you this is such a tough decision to make!! I know the gold MOP seems like a “practical” choice because it’s more wearable but honestly go with your gut feeling, disregarding practicability. I regretted not getting items in the past because I wanted to be more practical when my heart was actually wanting the more standout piece. Both have pros and cons of course, for example I like that the porcelain can get wet while MOP is not recommended to get wet.

+1000

if you adore it, simply wear it with everything. I think of blue as a dark neutral or a pop color neutral depending on the shade, and I wear it with black, gray, navy, taupe, cream, chestnut. A classic sartorial combo is blue and brown.

ETA: but I’m not particularly matchy matchy, and I tend to wear the same jewelry (until I remember or have the inclination to rotate out).

Furthermore, I think your skin tone looks beautiful with the blue. You bring out the best in one another.

I know! My SA contacted me this morning that she has one for me, but I need to pick it up in person. Looking into options that don't include leaving my baby and flying to France!
Take the baby with you. Get a business class seat; it's like a mini suite, and you two can snuggle up together. Best part... little kids fly free!

You can be in & out in a day. This is so exciting! I hope you can make it work! I can totally see you with this bracelet along side your other fabulous pieces.

Hi everyone, I've been offered these 2 pieces and am torn as to which to get. I came to Paris convinced I would get a Vendome exclusive and was never a fan of gold MOP.

Turns out gold MOP is beautiful in person and might be easier to wear everyday. But the blue is so striking.

Any and all opinions welcome. TIA! :flowers:

Hi! I forgot to give my vote. I vote GMOP. GMOP is from the Golden South Sea pearl, and it is beautiful. It glows and is like liquid gold.

I typically like stones that pop, but this porcelain is a bit too dark, so it looks recessed. Plus, I am not a porcelain fan; it looks too flat. I prefer a natural stone over man-made porcelain for fine jewelry. It's all preference of course, so you have to ask yourself fo you really like porcelain or are you caught up in the hype you are offered one.

For me, if I wanted a blue 5 motif, I would rather have blue agate or lapis.

Just my two cents. I hope that was helpful. Good luck!

Thank you very much PT! Most likely I will miss this round, because I would prefer to wait until she can have the COVID vaccine (in 2 more months) before bringing her through a crowded place. It looks like I should get to work on her passport though! My SA knows I would like to be notified when they receive their next shipment, so fingers crossed the timing works out. Hopefully they will have more coming in, because this line was intended to last for 18 months. Worst case; I suppose that I can SO something similar in the future :) I have a soft spot for the Gold MOP mostly for symbolism, as I have the matching holiday pendant which was released for the 50th anniversary of the Alhambra design.

Hands down the GMOP bc you’ll use it. I find the blues and green are not as easy to wear as bracelets and I wear a lot of colored stones for earrings and necklaces, not for bracelets, they get too busy for my liking with colors. That’s why I prefer MOP or onyx for bracelets over Malachite, Bleu Agate, Lapis, Bleu Porcelain, or even turquoise. It seems you’re leaning toward the GMOP. Good luck!
