But I imagine it would be lovely if it were glossy. Reminiscent of dark caramel. Whatever they do (or skip doing) to make them look so matte and parched is not doing them any favors.

I would think it would be hard to use conditioner without clogging the holes.

I would think it would be hard to use conditioner without clogging the holes.

I agree. And I don't think the only flaw is that the leather is dry and could be fixed with conditioner. There's something about the unfinished treatment. I'd think you need to spray some kind of gloss or overcoat on it, and even then the holes could sabotage the results. It's a shame because the glossy version of the hole-punched leather is extraordinarily soft and silky.
