As I was researching this year/color earlier this month, it was difficult to find a post where the pics would load until I stumbled on an earlier post you did of this bag. Any time you’re researching, especially an older bag, and the old photos are a bust, you can ask here for a good photo. Chances are very good someone will either have the bag/color or can dig up photos.

The 05 metallics, though widely adored for their gorgeous colors and sparkled, are even lovelier when touched. You’d think that the metallic dye would degrade or mask the lusciousness of the leather, but no. The leathers are glorious.

I wanted to share this photo I took that further show the variances in Olive Brown
Obviously, these are the same age. The biggest difference would probably be the bag is exposed to sunlight & the elements more than the accessory case. Do you think the variances were always this obvious or do you think the bag faded more than the case over time?

Wow! That is such a wide difference! I’m not sure but leaning toward a natural difference to start. There are several colors that seem to have a wide variation in hue. I’m thinking specifically of the depth of color differences among individual Rouge Theater reds. It’s not just lighting, some are so dark it’s difficult to tell whether you’re seeing 05 Bordeaux, and others can look like a garden variety vivid red.

Edit: just noticed how similar the zipper tape color appears. So there’s that!

The tassels are the same color and even tho it was hard to capture, the inside tags appear to be the same color too.
I guess its just hard to imagine the color fading so much over time, then again, it probably shouldn't be when we've seen it before with colors like Seafoam and Sky Blue
