Which bags are you planning on buying in 2015?

Are these in addition to or instead of? If instead of, that's a complete 180! :)

Haven't decided yet. Shuffling the stack ranking and it'll depend on accessibility, timing, and sales. Tyler Alexandra can be difficult to find and Bally hasn't released the bag I want yet, so if I walk past LV or Ferragamo and fall in love with a bag, it will probably come home with me. Coach will get purchased regardless as it won't impact other purse purchases.

Nice - I bet your flexibility will definitely help you to score that perfect bag. :smile1:

This is a fun topic. I've been learning a lot on this forum since discovering it right before the holidays, and I am thinking hard about these this year. Probably at least two of these will happen:
1. Proenza Schouler Medium PS1 in Smoke
2. Chloe Emma bag in blue (the smaller one)
3. A metal edge Balenciaga. This probably would have already happened but I just can't decide which color.

And then perhaps one or two of these, depending on deals or mood :-)
Fendi Demi Jours
Proenza Schouler PS1 pochette in a suede
Zac Posen Eartha Mini in a colorblock pattern
At least one more Coach mini Borough

There's two I have my eye on for 2015 but will have to be one or the other:

LV Speedy Bandouliere 25 monogram empreinte in Orient or Safran

Gucci Soho shoulder bag in pink or neutral

I'm saving up my pennies so it's not likely to happy until late December.

Well this plan sure changed in a New York minute!

I already bought three Gucci (returned one that just didn't work for me)...

So my plan (subject to change based on the bag lust and reality) is to add these to my collection:

-- pre-loved LV Speedy Bandouliere 25 mono empreinte in Safran
-- Givenchy Nightingale in small (pre-loved or new)
-- Balenciaga Velo
-- Prada City Calf Topstitched Double-zip, med

1. Chanel Reissue 2.55 226
2. Chanel mini flap patent

Possible purchases:
1. Chanel GST light pink or beige
2. Balenciaga City either classic or GSHW
3. Celine trio in red

this is my list so far...I hope I don't add anything else as the year goes on. :sweatdrop:

I am currently considering a Chanel jumbo, but I'm still torn between getting a Chanel jumbo or purchasing two designer items with the money. I don't own any Chanel, and this is going to be my first "designer" bag purchase. If I don't get a Chanel jumbo, I've been wanting a LV brea in epi leather and a Burberry trench coat. I'm not sure if I should just get a Chanel or spend the money on buying two things I've wanted for long and know for sure I'll use more often than the pricey Chanel bag? Any advice?

I am focusing on quality leather and craftsmanship this year. I may only get one of these, but the purses I really want this year are:

J.W. Hulme Charlie Crossbody in American Vintage Leather
Massaccesi Zhoe or Phoebe, not sure which color/leather
Opelle Lotus or Ballet, probably in gray

As I will turn 60 in Sept. this year I'd like to get a Chanel to mark the occasion. I don't mind if it's pre-loved. And I think it will be either a GST or jumbo flap. I'm guessing I'll see what I can find in black, as I doubt I'll get a second one so I'd rather stick with my tried and true love, classic black.

I'm leaning toward getting the LV and Burberry since you've been wanting them, but if the Chanel is something you also really want, maybe you shouldn't wait - those darn price increases can be hefty! Then again, if you know you'll use the LV and Burberry more, I say go with those. No point in having an expensive item just sitting in your closet...
