That is such a gorgeous colour! Alma is a classic bag with so much history I don't think it will really "go out of style" unless it "goes out of your personal style". If you don't reach for the Speedy anymore then perhaps it's time to find her a new home when she still has a long life left. If you still reach for both then I'd say keep both for different outfits/occasions.

I would keep the Alma, it is such a beautiful Iconic bag, and every few years they do come out with a runway version of them.
Personally, I do not believe that bags go in and out of style, but that could just be me.
I prefer to carry bags that you don’t see very often, and your Epi Alma falls solidly into that category.

I agree wholeheartedly 110% with everything Bull just said. This style and colourway is a dream combo. While nostalgic, it is still relevant. Cassis represents the “one that got away” to me. I would embrace a reinvigorated focus on the epi line as it is under appreciated by the younger generation IHO.
I’m two years older than you and would advise keeping both if you can. I own two speedies and alma bb in epi. I previously used the epi more but increased use of Speedies this year.

Keep speedy b DE, I love Alma pm I owns one too I’m not selling mine, but Speedy B DE will holds the most value, if you sell now, later will cost you a lot more to buy back if you want to buy it back

Speedy b DE always available, sell that one if you only want to keep one, but REMEMBER, the price is going up, you’ll never get it for the same price, and perhaps not even the same quality.
Also, I feel the quality, workmanship, and even the canvas is different, not as up to par as compared to before. I don’t know if its because they mass produce more and more, yet their website is always ‘not available’ or call for inquiry type of availability.

I know the feeling that you want to downsize. I have so many bags by diff designers, I'm single w no children so start to think what am I doing w so many & don't even have someone to pass down to. So I was thinking if I should sell some bags. Then my sis gave me a sound advice. Who cares if I have so many. I worked hard to get my hands in these classic designer bags. And I do rotate & use all my bags & diff bags on diff day makes me feel good. So I hope you can keep both. I have to say that I used to see alma all over & I do see it much less now but it still is a very classic style & that color is beautiful. If I have to choose, prob sell speedy.
Alma BB's are definitely not out of fashion! On the contrary, they are classics and I feel they can hold their own very well. I think you should keep the Alma! I agree that if you decide you want a Speedy later down the line, it won't be hard to get one again.
Resonating similar comments from earlier replies, Alma will never go out of style. To me, anyone who carries an alma (whichever size and material) is a CLASS ACT of his/her own, and just because it does not appear "in trend" in print or social media, it makes this bag more disntictive and unique than anything because it is less common to bump into someone else carrying the same bag.
Buy and keep what you love as well as works for you, not what appears to be trendy or not in other people's eyes. Sometimes, it is you who carry the bag so well that made others remember the beauty of the bags they have forgotten or missed as well.
