I believe Soho was 1941. The similar Nolita wasn't 1941.
By the looks of the strap rivets and buckle, looks like the designers hung out in the Archives for a little vintage inspiration. I approve!
I posted a bunch of pics from yesterday in the Outlet Spypics thread and they had a lot of 1941 bags and loads of rogues, including the oxblood with prairie rivets for 50% off. They didn't have the dark denim rogue but they did have the blue Keith Haring and the turquoise rogue.
I have been hearing a lot about Coach 1941 here. But I didn't see anything about it on the Coach site. Can someone explain to me why the line is called 1941, and what makes them unique to the line? Thank you!
And sort of off topic, but not totally off because I am still talking about Coach. Are outlet purchases in store only or does that have it's own web site?. I live in San Francisco. We do have a Coach store but I don't know if we have an outlet? Maybe someone from the Bay Area knows better.
The 1941 line is/was Coach's more upscale line with premium leathers, sometimes leather lined bags, heavier hardware, and more details. Within the past couple of weeks, it looks like Coach is doing away with 1941 and blurring the Coach New York and 1941 lines together.
Coach Outlet stores are actual outlets, if you go to the store locator section on their site, it lists both boutiques and outlet stores when you do a search. And they do have a separate website, www.coachoutlet.com but you have to be invited to shop there. I've been banned from it for several years now.... The outlet sells their own lines of items, we call them MFF here (made for factory) and they also sell deletes, which are full priced overstock from past season.
