Where would you use a canvas tote?

I also live in a plastic bag ban city & use fun printed canvas totes all the time for shopping

Also great in a pinch if I need to carry my laptop & my purse is too small to accommodate it

Love my LLBean tote, you can get it with a zipper too!
I use it for heavy things when I don't feel like putting them in a nice bag, library books, text books. I've taken it on picnics and just going to the city for shoes when I'm traveling. Also bring them to the supermarket when I'm just buying veggies/fruits

I would use a canvas tote for school, beach, and traveling. I wouldn't use it for shopping unless it's the size of a LV Neverfull PM.

I have a thin canvas tote I got from Cafe Press that my brother gave me ( he put pictures on them and sold them for awhile for fun) that I take to the little local health food store when I shop there. They don't get confused there by people bringing in their own bags.

I have a heavy canvas Land's End or L.L. Bean tote ( I can't remember which it is) that I have used for YEARS on the boat. I can't believe how well that thing has held up.
