I recently bought a RM washed tote but it ended up being too heavy for my liking. Unfortunately the site I bought it from was final sale and tags are still attached.

Any pre-loved sites you can recommend for reselling?

Ann’s Fabulous Finds, Rebag, and Fashionphile are all good options. Good Luck with the sale!

Hey! Ann's Fabulous Finds failed to sell my Burberry bag and I received very similar quotes from Rebag and Fashionphile. Should I just go with whoever offered slightly more? Or is one significantly better than the other? For example, ever had one or both of them adjust down your quote after receiving the item?

Fashionphile lowers the price after so many days for sale and keeps lowering until it's 30% off but as far as I know Rebag will only have a 10% of sale here and there. Good luck with your Burberry. :)

You might have better luck on the Burberry forum. I'd encourage you to read the terms of service closely as you're making this decision. It seems pretty common that the price is lowered after not selling for X number of days.

I have never had my quote lowered after they received the bag. Just take as many pictures as allowed and give a good description. I have only received a direct buy out quote from fashionphile. I do not know if they do consignment. If they buy your bag, you will not have to worry about them putting it on sale. That's on them. You may also want to try Yoogi's.

I have had good luck selling bags in that price range on Mercari. Their fee is 10% when it sells and a 2.9% transaction fee. What I like about Mercari is they give a buyer only 4 days after the item is received to accept it for you to get paid. No returns after the 4th day. If a buyer does not rate you, Mercari will and release your funds. So far, I have never had an item returned.

Thanks everyone! To clarify, I am doing a direct buy. I am worried that they will lower the payout amount after receiving the item because they somehow feel that it is worth less after they see it. (That has happened to me before with other places and other items, and I didn't really have much recourse. The Terms and Conditions allow them to do so, and having the item returned to me would incur a fee, not to mention additional hassle.) I am not doing a consignment. I am not worried about them putting the item on sale. Would be helpful if you can speak to whether FP or Rebag or both is notorious for doing what I described! I don't think this behavior would vary brand to brand and don't want to start a new thread. So far, from research, it seems they are about equal all things considered, so I should just go with whoever is offering more. @Antonia @jennalovesbags @cbarrus
