Where is your Burberry made in?

Bought the mid length gabardine trench coat (love it) from a Burberry boutique and it's made in the UK.

I would feel a bit "cheated" if my things came from China and the price is the same as if it were made in UK, Italy, etc...It costs them much less to make it in China and to sell it at a price that is still high just isn't right to me.

My Nova Check tote I bought 2 years ago is also made in China .. But comparing to made in Italy it is the same quality ... I like it and have used the bag so many times .. I think Burberry keep stringent quality controls if it is made in China

Yes. Burberry does need to have strict quality control or it will tarnish the brand's reputation.

My Burberry Dutton house check was made in Italy and so was my black patent quilted brook shoulder bag.

I was told by the SA that the Nova check bags are made n china so my wallet is nova check, haven't looked but I'm assuming china

Yes Nova is Made in China but I personally believe that when the nova first came out, it was Made in Italy because I had a nova check wallet that was stolen about 4 years ago and that wallet was Made in Italy i believe.

Some customers feel that way and some feel that Made in China means bad quality and that Made in UK or Italy automatically means that its good quality.

All my pieces I have now are marked "Italy". I had a grainy hobo I sold awhile back that was made in "Romania".

My orchard, bought in NYC, was made in Romania. However, I first saw the bag a few months earlier in the Amsterdam Bijenkorf boutique, and that one was made in Italy. Quality was the same so I felt comfortable with the Romanian version.
