I agree! Even on this forum I've noticed one or two fake ones pictured. I feel like when you go fake you're trying to mimic something for the wrong reason. I love my bangle for me, I love the look and the tone on my wrist. Not to be part of some "secret club" people with fake bracelets want to be apart of lol. Some of the most beautiful jewelry I've seen isn't even designer
I would never wear or buy fake anything. I would rather get something pretty I can afford. My husband bought mine for our 25th Anniversary and no one in my town even knew what it was and honestly I liked it that way. It's special to me not overstated. Then one night we were at a party and a woman was so rude and asked me in front of everyone is that real? I was so annoyed she told everyone how much they cost. Then she told them all u can buy fake ones on line. I was so upset. So now in town there is a group who wears fake ones! Vey odd to me!!
The woman in front of me at church last week had one on. It looked really nice on her, all on it's own. I've gotten so used to seeing it stacked, it was kind of refreshing.
^ When I was I my early 20's my SIL gave me a fake LV wallet. I was actually quite offended and the reason is because I was young and had no money but I knew it was fake and my SIL had a real one so why did she think it was ok if she gave me a fake one? So I kept that fake wallet in my closet for many years and when I could afford a real one in my 40's I threw it away.
Sorry to ramble but if you can't have the real thing don't settle for a fake, why not just get a lovely wallet or bracelet or handbag that isn't pretending to be something that it is not!

I guess the biggie is that this whole purse forum is against fakes, why not just buy a nice bracelet but not a fake!
Exactly... It is a big deal, Caz. When you do your research and see where the money goes back to from counterfeiting it's insane. It supports a a lot of bad illegal activity. Second of all why do fakes? What are you trying to prove with a fake? I think it's in poor taste to try to pass a fake for the real deal. Like you're trying to fake something else. But the majority opinion of the forum and my two cents. Not trying to start a debate of real or fake. But the policy of this forum is no fakes are to be pictures or shown here.
I agree with the other ladies. I would never buy a fake. I will be getting one of these bracelets eventually and if I can't have something now...I would rather wait and have the real thing. Counterfeiting as mentioned above supports crime and illegal activity and shouldn't be taken lightly.
Saw someone on the beach of Fairmont Kea Lani resort, Maui wearing 5 Cartier loves stacked, 2 of them diamond ones! I couldn't stop staring.

Theres no need 2 get nasty with caz. Shes only saying! Not everyone can afford a 10,000 love. Shes not trying 2 prove anything. Only asking for opinions. Its not like shes trying to pass it off as real. People are entitled to post whatever pic they want
I don't think she was being nasty at all. Just saying what she felt. And I agree with her, actually. Like it or not the design belongs to cartier and they can price it as they wish. Not being able to afford is not a reason to get a fake...I would find a stunning gold bangle as an alternative that I both loved and could afford and make that my "love".
Counterfeiting is just plain wrong on all levels. There are so many lovely pieces of non-designer jewellery out there, why buy a fake and try to be someone/something you are not? Wearing or being able to afford Cartier or any other designer brand does not make anyone a better person. I bought my Love because I genuinely loved/love the design and it makes me feel good to wear something that I not only find beautiful to look at but I know I saved for over the course of a year. However, I am just as happy to wear my non-designer pieces.
