Where do you purchase your new VCA items? Online, boutique, NM, anywhere else?

Wow I never knew online purchases came with a big box! But in any event, I think finding a long-term SA is still the best. They can find and reserve pieces for you, you can message them directly with any questions, sometimes provide info on upcoming releases and price increases (although sometimes this forum is more informative!), etc. I also recently got a special order, which I think is easier to make happen if you have a good SA.
Now you are just teasing us - which SO did you get ?

I am not a matchy person but just love seeing your sets :love: :loveeyes:

I bought my first VCA piece in boutique place Vendome Paris (VCA’s first and historical boutique) and while the SA is beyond helpful I may consider buying online next time as they allow return with online purchase but not in boutique here, how odd!!

That is odd. Cartier used to offer refund for online purchases and only store credit for in-store ones but now the policy is the same.

Yes how odd it is to have different policies on- and off-line.
I seemed to be allergic to the yellow gold VA pendant and bought it back to the store, the aftersales executive said coldly “That’s never happened before to any of our customers and there’s nothing I can do for you” with facial expression that wanted to say “I don’t believe your story, you just can’t return a product bought in our store”. It’s so disappointing -_-

This is very disappointing. Did you try to reach out to store management?
 
Did you decide to exchange for something else? I believe I saw another post here regarding a similar allergy issue you had.
I only like Alhambra line for now and it’s all in 18K gold so I don’t think it’ll be different.

My ears were allergic unless the earrings were in pure gold (in my country we do wear 99.99% gold jewellery especially elders as a manner to keep physical gold, you’d see some ladies with some kg of gold on their fingers, necks and ears lol) or pure silver. I wore some gold and silver plated stuff and my ears were so irritated that the holes are “closed” ever since and I can’t wear earrings anymore.

So for now I’ll keep the pendant and wear it only once in a while, I think it’ll be not that bad if I don’t wear it all the time.
