Old thread, but I did get a nice box. This was at the Fendi boutique in Venice Italy. I really wanted to bring that box home, but I ended up having to leave it in the hotel room. Too much shopping on the trip. No way to pack it with all the other 'souvenirs".

The only time I received a box was when I asked for one. This was when I purchased the peekaboo. I did not feel comfortable carrying it out of the store in just a dust cover and shopping bag.

yes, when I´ve received my Peekaboo, I´ve got big dark brown box, with my bag inside a dustbag all made up in linnen, plus a product to keep my bag safe from scratchs and damages of all kinds.

Now, for my frist Fendi, I´ve got simply a black dustbag made of silk

usually they ask if we want to take the box, as foreigners shopping and after having to pack a big box.

well, for me is easier to arranged the bag inside a box in the shelters of my closet, so I said I was bringing my box with me, and when I´ve arrived at my hotel room, I´ve put it inside my valise and put every others things inside the box..

they´ve asked me and my sister if we´d want them to sand the boxs directly to our hotel, ´couse it was a giants yellows Fendi bags with the big boxs insideand we´ve said YES with a wide released smile in our faces, how relaxed we have been after that to continue shopping by

I live in Hong Kong and I had to ask for a box too when I bought a peekaboo (black kid + mink/boar fur stripes on the panel :graucho:) for my fiancée (they gave me a yellow box). Otherwise, like Elyssabeth said, they just put it in a shopping bag with the dustbag.

I have 2 peekaboo s and did not get a box with either - both are goat - no box with one I got a yellow authenticity booklet that said Alabama kid the other I got a yellow booklet saying vitello calf which was did not match the Alabama kid bag

Did anyone else get the wrong booklet? The authenticity card on both were perfect and were both authenticated by purse forum so I'm not too concerned I was just wondering if this happened to anyone else?

I don't think those are authenticity cards? They seem to be care instructions, because the serial number and authenticity hologram tag are inside the lining of the zip pocket on the panel. Funnily enough, the one I bought only had 2 sets of care instructions - one for alabama kid, and a suede one for the lining. It didn't have care instructions for the mink/boar fur panel, which I thought should be the material one would have to care for the most.

yes giant muffin man - i meant the leather care cards - no the authenticity cards, hollogram, serial numbers, etc were all A+ Its just the bag was clearly alabama kid leather and came with care cards for calfskin leather or vitello calf as it was called in italian - i just thought it to be odd that i should recieve care cards for a leather i did not purchase and was wondering if anyone had that problem
